They did what You asked for: "un-merge Your accounts", without deleting any local accounts (would not have been possible anyway).

Now Your username is not global anymore, that means:

• Your name is no longer protected, anyone could register it on a wiki where You have not yet been;
• if You visit a wiki, where You have not yet been, no account will be created for You, You will have to do that Yourself;
• You will not stay automatically logged in in the existing accounts, You will have to log separately on each wiki.

Hello! I am ru:User:Candid from Russian Wikipedia. I have a problem: I wanted to sign up at en-wiki (getting username en:User:Candid), but I was not able to do it because it was already in use (but that user didn't made any edits) I have registered in en-wiki as Ru.Candid and asked en-wiki administrator to rename me to User:Candid, but he said he is not able to do this and forwarded me to this page. :)

Hello. You'd need to persuade a Spanish bureaucrat (see the list at es:special:listusers/bureaucrat) to rename the Spanish Nemo to another name. The problem though is that at 505 contributions, you're not likely to persuade them. I might suggest it'd be easier to simply select a different account name for yourself, but feel free to discuss the situation with one of the Spanish Wikipedia bureaucrats if you'd prefer. He won't be able to usurp Your account either, if he activates sul it will just be unattached, I doubt someone will rename You without asking You on en.wiki, because You are active and have 200+ edits. I have just discovered the unified account facility, and created my unified account, "Olivierd". There is a problem, however. "Olivierd" is the account name I have been using on the English WP; on the French WP I have been using a different login, with my full name: "David_Olivier". But it appears that there is also an account on the French WP named "Olivierd". That account has never been used (see here). I believe that it is an account that I created a long time ago, when I was new to Wikipedia, and for which I subsequently lost the password.

I really would like to have a unified account for the English and French Wikipedias, both of which I have been active on. So my request is for the following steps:

• Deletion of account "Olivierd" on the French Wikipedia (NOT the English one, pleeease!!).

• Renaming on the French Wikipedia of account "David_Olivier" to "Olivierd".

I don't know if I can prove that I am the real owner of "Olivierd" on the French Wikipedia, since I can't retrieve the password. But as I said, the account seems never to have been used.

When I used the unified login to merge all of my accounts, it turned out that on both the DE-wiki and here on wikimedia I used a different password than on my other accounts. Since I no longer remembered the passwords I used here and on DE-wiki, I could not merge those accounts with the rest. I also didn’t give my e-mail adress when creating those accounts, so I cannot ask to send me a new password. Is it possible to either give me a new password for those accounts, or to delete those accounts so I can recreate hem with the right password?

Accounts cannot be deleted. But if they have few or no contributions, they can be "pushed aside" with an usurpation request. If you did not set an email and did not remember the password, it takes developer intervention to correct. This is very rare. How many contribs are we talking about? You can always place a pointer from the usurped to the new account so people can find you, that may be the easiest approach.
