Most of them are returning mavericks in new forms
All the zx one mavericks are all just mid to me so none are included :/
Like in zxa, you can mimick them when you beat them
Fire:
Chronoforce
Commander yammark
Vulturon
Ice:
Storm eagle
Magma dragoon
Queenbee
Electric:
Morph moth
Flamin flizzard
Fenrir lunaredge
Neutral:
Chill penguin
Tech kraken
Flame hyenard (don't worry he doesn't scream)
You can unlock the four guardians by defeating any of the bosses of their respective element. You also find models zx and a. They keep all their shiny bells and whistles, they are in their prime. No character exclusive moves this game
New Mega Man comic series was announced.
Udon Entertainment (the people behind the Official Complete Works book, and many comics for Capcom franchises like Street Fighters and Darkstalkers) is the license holder. And every series (beside BN and SF) was part of the deal.

Basic story: hunter base attacked by a dude called Mason. He devastated the area and kidnaps Nicole, and steals a bunch of data on some mavericks. Grey/Ashe tries to stop him but gets knocked out. After a while, Grey/Ashe tries to search for Leon.
A group of scavengers turn up, but are jumped by a group of hunters. One of them (Liz/Drew) runs into a pit, and finds a fragment of model W. Due to being altered by Mason's attack it has an entirely different personality to the rest of the model W fragments. It also requires less energy and is much smaller. She/he uses it, and fights off the hunters. She/he spares them, and asks why their old base was trashed. The hunters explain and the game truly begins.
MASON LORE DROP:
Mason was once a hunter himself, and was quite attached to Nicole, although she didn't feel the same for him. During the start of Zxa, Mason was thrown overboard. He landed in an old laboratory. He discovered a rusting robot, and a small chip inside of it. Barely surviving, Mason decided to try and use said chip. It turned out to be biometal BRRB (for blues (protos japanese name), rock, roll and bass). He mega merged with it, saving his life. He then had a realisation - if the rest of the hunters weren't so reckless Nicole might still be with him. He became a maverick slayer, hunting down mavericks across the globe and even defeating Pandora and Prometheus once and for all. Then, he received a hallucination - it was rock talking to him in blurry, glitchy text. He told him that Nicole was still alive, and two dangerous individuals called Pandora and Prometheus. Mason quickly annihilated them. Rock then told him where Nicole was. In his eyes, Rock was doing his duty, believing that Mason would be the Mega man to end all mega men. He instructed him to destroy all other biometals before they got out of hand, and how to rebuild former mavericks so they could live a better life. Due to seeing the protags from the previous games as pure souls, he spares them.
It's kinda sorta a mustache girl situation - thinks they are bringing justice but is infact going way to far, brining the opposite.

This hurts to say as she is my favourite non final boss reploid from the zero and ZX series behind condorock (don't worry ill do one for hin as well) She is absolutely abysmal. Her attacks only go down at an angle, which wouldn't be an issue if flying didn't use up biometals guage. She's also just boring to play, and don't even think about using her on bosses (insert queen bee death sound here)
My first change is changing the fire shot to a level one charge. Another change is making it so flying no longer uses biometals. Dashing does, and leaves a trail of fire, and rains fire if used in midair. You can also use biometal by using the sub weapon (summons a bee drone that homes in on the enemy). The level 2 charge for her basic attack is the fire beam, which is basically the storm tornado but it follows your movements.
I feel like when respriting enemies from non-NES games, people should also ATLEAST take creative liberties instead of recoloring like a sissy

For me it’s gotta be Blast Man, Tundra Man, and Fuse Man tbh.
Mega Man 2 is not only one of the most recognized Mega Man games, but also one of the most recognized NES games (alongside Mega Man 3). It is known as the favorite Mega Man game for many, while some say it's good but a bit overrated. In my opinion, the game that came out 6,034 days after Watergate is one of the best games ever made. So let's talk about it.
The story is explained in an iconic opening cutscene with the camera panning to Mega Man without his helmet on a building. Now, in the US/European versions of Mega Man 2, you can choose from Normal (Easy) or Difficult (Normal). If you are playing Mega Man 2 for the first time, I recommend playing on Normal and then Difficult.
The controls might not be perfect like in Mega Man 9, but I just love them equally! The feeling of jumping and shooting feels way better than in the first game, where it felt like Mega Man had WD-40 in his boots while on ice.
I always liked how the levels test not only your skills with the controller but also with the game. For example, Bubble Man's stage is all about timing your jumps to avoid hitting the spikes on the ceiling, while Quick Man's stage is about having good reaction time to clear the beams coming at you. All levels test the player's skills in new ways. Wood Man's level is by far my favorite due to how it's about being aware of your surroundings and having to look all around you to avoid getting hit.
Route:
Metal Man
Bubble Man
Heat Man
Wood Man
Air Man
Crash Man
Flash Man
Quick Man
The weapons in this game are so broken that I think they just thought of the weapons and said, "F(HEY BASS)ck it, just add it." Metal Blades are usually known as the best weapon, and yeah, I agree with the multi-directional aim and stuff, but just look at the rest: a bubble that travels around the ground and walls, a ball of heat that you can charge, an air shooter that shoots upwards in three directions, a goddamn leaf shield that blocks most attacks and can go in four directions, and more! Now, I can say it's poor game design and that balance is needed, but this is one of those games where being broken is just fun. Along with those, we have the item platforms. Item 1 gives you a floating platform, Item 2 is a jet that propels you forward at top speed, and Item 3 scales a wall after touching it. These extra weapons are very useful and are just fun to use!
The music is... well, I don't need to explain why it's good; it's just great. You all know it. Wood Man's theme might just be my favorite Robot Master theme of all time because it's so good. The only one I never really liked so much was Air Man's theme, but it's still a bop!
What impacted me the most was the ending, which I want you to see here. It was so impactful to me because, excluding Undertale, I have never seen a video game ending that made me feel so bittersweet. Seeing Mega Man walking back home with such a melody always hit me inside. Most video game characters are victorious and happy, like in the ending to the original Sonic the Hedgehog. But in Mega Man 2, seeing him contemplate everything he has gone through, being forced to do all of that, just impacts you in a way like no other. I think the moment I saw this ending was the moment I became a fan of this entire series, and I still love this game for it.
Side Notes
1.This game has a password feature which is very helpful when trying to beat a game like this.
2.E-tanks refill all of your energy but are a one-time use item, which I think is very fair balancing.
3.Wood Man is actually weak to Heat Man, not Metal.
4.Though Quick Man is weak to Flash Stopper, I go to Crash Man first because he is weak to him.
Mega Man 2 is a game that has impacted me in so many ways that I can't thank it enough for what it did. So thank you, thank you Mega Man 2.
RANKING: A+ (9/10)
