General Supporter Information

What is a Supporter

A Supporter’s job is to advise community members, guide them to resources, answer questions, and keep event organizers on track, particularly when mentoring events.

As the events program grows, we want organizers to feel connected to the Community Team. The more Supporters we have sharing their voices and diverse perspectives, the more impactful a resource we can be to our community members and event organizers everywhere. Particularly as events become more diverse and reflect more voices from the WordPress community.

Keep in mind that we’re asking you to advise and guide. We want you to help organizers avoid common mistakes and assist them in finding their own way to create a successful community, often through events that reflect the unique WordPress community in their area.
