Excelente opcion para tener internet en Japon. El traductor no vale la.pena rentarlo ya que con las aplicaciones de los moviles ya no es necesario. Si recomiendo rentar la pila extra. La devolucion del equipo muy sencillo. Lo recomiendo totalmente al 100%

Excellent option to have internet in Japan. The translator is not worth the money to rent it since with the applications of mobile phones it is no longer necessary. If I recommend renting the extra battery. The return of the team very simple. I recommend it 100

I'm so glad I got the AU network unit for broad coverage. It was very reliable in rural areas of Hokkaido, not just small towns and suburbs. And the battery in it literally lasted forever, I didn't need to charge it very oftern. Also when travelling around Hokkaido don't forget to try soup curry, it's especially good in Sapporo. And the melon from Hokkaido is the best in the world. One additional piece of advice is if you're torn between visiting Zimbabwe and Hokkaido, Hokkaido is definitely the better choice. Also, the NY Mets suck, kind of like killer bees. Sorry for rambling.

Everything went as planned. The pocket wi-fi, translator and portable charger were at the hotel when we checked in. Everything worked perfectly and the customer service is awesome. I highly recommend this company and would definitely use their service again. Having all these devices made our travel experience in Japan way less stressful.

I've been using Pupuru for 15 (!) years. They have consistently provided excellent products and customer support at reasonable prices. They've helped me stay connected on at least 20 trips to Japan, first with local cellphones and now with fast, reliable portable Wifi. I can't recommend them enough.

Pipiru worked great for us, pick up at Barita airport and setup was super easy. The only thing that didn’t go smoothly was drop off. We took the device in its pre addressed envelope to the post office but they refused to take it. We had to call customer service and get new return details which involved filling out the address in Japanese! Long story short, the return process needs to be sorted out.

The internet speed is awesome. The whole renting process is easy to be done. Except while collecting the wifi at Kansai airport, i'm confused with the area. Maybe in future you can improve on the details about the collection process. Definitely will use the same pocket wifi everytime i plan to visit Japan!

We used Pupuru's pocket wifi device mainly to get around (using google maps) for 10 days in Japan. With partial insurance the cost for the wider-coverage-but-slower-than-city-speed wifi was $135 Canadian all in. I would say it could be cheaper, but the wifi was quite reliable (only lost signal twice and turning the device off and back on seemed to help). The pickup/dropoff at a 24-hour stall in Haneda airport went smoothly. We would definitely rent from Pupuru again.

PuPuRu was a fantastic choice for my wife and I visiting Japan from the US, the staff always answered any of my questions promptly, thank you Uki M! My family members purchased other, cheaper options ($20-$30 less), but their batteries always died and the service was not consistent on their devices. The PuPuRu device on the other hand, always worked flawlessly and the battery stayed charged all the time! my wife played tons of Pokemon everyday, and the device never lost all power.

Got the device and it worked perfectly fine. It gives you unlimited internet connection all throughout the country (I got the more expensive one with full country coverage), I know because I've traveled from Tokyo to Nagasaki to Kyoto via Shinkansen and I didn't have any connection problems whatsoever.

Battery life is also amazing as it can last 8-9 hours a day.

Overall its a great product, just make sure to get insurance since you'll never know what will happen.

We stayed in Tokyo for a week and thought that we needed a reliable pocket wifi. While there were a lot of options available, we chose PuPuru because of the satisfactory customer reviews we saw online.

It didn't disappoint! We never had a problem connecting to the Internet. Even when we were an hour away from Tokyo, the reception was still outstanding.

Will rent again.

So so easy to use. From pick up to return, so easy and hassle-free. I’d recommend a portable charger on hand if u intend to be out for more than 8-9hrs cos that thing only lasted abt those hours. Not too bad I’d say. Even in deep underground train station, signal didn’t drop and my boys continued with their online gaming without complaints. A tad expensive but I got what I paid for.

We loved the PuPuRu wifi device - it worked all over Japan, no matter how regional we went. Our first device stopped working after 2.5 weeks, but the team immediately shipped out a replacement to our next hotel and we were not inconvenienced at all. Pick up and drop off very easy! I used Pupuru pocket WiFi during my 2 week trip to Japan this spring. It was an even smoother experience than I had expected. I had excellent network in most places, and the battery lasted quite a long time during the day as well. The pickup and drop off from Narita airport were also seamless. Definitely used it for more than its money's worth. Would 10/10 recommend this to anyone traveling to Japan for a couple of weeks. And I will surely be using it again!

Very reliable and good connection speed!

Just have to be very careful in very hot weather as it may cause overheating of the device! Will just need to turn it off for it to cool down a little bit before it can be used again but otherwise, no issues!

Very easy process for picking up at Narita Airport Terminal 2 as well and to connect from your devices once picked up.

Great customer service as well.

Will definitely go with them again!

Used this pocket wifi several times on previous trips to Japan prior to pandemic! It's one of the most convenient pocket wifis out there! Very strong signals in most parts of Japan from the north in Hokkaido to down south in Okinawa! This pocket wifi has helped me navigate through 14-15 prefectures, and has even helped people reach out to friends who were lost or looking for someone or trying to view their online maps. This pocket wifi can easily be picked up at Japan's top international airport terminals or even at the hostel location itself. Returning is easy as well! Most airports have their own postbox where you can return the pocket wifi with their own personal envelope with stamps and seals at no added cost! Highly recommended to anyone especially now that Japan is slowly opening up again! Thank you so much, and I cannot wait to use again!

Pupuru WiFi worked amazing while I was in Tokyo and Osaka. Speed was great for posting photos and stories to social media and even streaming video on the shinkansen. Very convenient to pick up and return. I arrived at Haneda at 6 am and was still able to pick it up! Just make sure, if you’re returning at the airport, to drop off the WiFi in the mailbox *before* you go through security.

I travelled to tokyo and osaka and rent a Pupuru wifi as my travel companion. It’s so easy to use and claim. I booked online using my credit card and upon arrival at the airport you may claim it to the wifi counter. You just have to present your passport and wifi booking and you’re good to go. In returning the device it’s so simple also that you just have to place the device inside yellow envelope and drop to nearest dropbox or before leaving from the airport. I will definitely use pupuru wifi in my next japan travel.

I loved being able to access the internet during my time in Tokyo. It was very useful for navigating the train system as I traveled from one city to another. The one drawback I encountered was the battery life. The battery lasted about 12 hours. If you are on the move all day, I would suggest carrying a battery backup with you. On most days this was not an issue because I was able to recharge at an outlet during the day. Battery life was only an issue when I was unable to recharge while at the Disney parks.
