Description

This ticket is intended to be used to assess:

  1. The current state of the provider authority work
  2. Any additional work that's needed in order to make this feature functional in the API in order to improve results

Alternatives

Additional context

I don't have more information now, but we can always update this ticket if it's apparent there's only a single, specific need for the authority work.

Implementation
