I am using Vortex version 1.11.7 to mod Monster Hunter World. I am on Windows 11 x64 with 32gb of RAM. Vortex worked fine a few months ago with like 15ish mods but now when I try to open the game the game will launch into a black screen and then after a few seconds it will close itself. I have tried uninstalling Vortex and all the mods as well as a fresh installation of the game but it still does not work.

There is any way to replace normal textures files with Official High Resolution Pack files for less storage consumption?

When applying the weapon appearance mod, the existing scabbard does not disappear. So, the appearance of the mode and the existing sword sheath appear to overlap. Is there a solution?

I really don't know how to TL;DR this post as it's becoming increasingly frustrating dealing with this game and its absolute dogshit code. Using mods or collections for this game seem to NEVER WORK no matter what you do. I've now spent days trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with the game or what's wrong with vortex for it to be producing files in the manner that it does. It seems when launching a modded version of world that uses PURELY cosmetic changes with no UI/Performance boosts/changes outside of cosmetic, the game launches as a vastly inferior and out of date version, namely, 14.11.01 when I know for a fact the base game is running on 15.22.0 Because the game runs this inferior version, I seem to only ever get 2 possible outcomes. A: The game launches, but the save version is inferior to the game version, which then promptly overwrites my save and creates a new blank level 1 save that starts from the beginning due to a 'Save file different from game version. Please update' error on loading. B: The game launches, the mods work, but the game is inferior in version and thus is not able to connect to the live servers, the game version is stuck at 14.11.01 I have exhausted all my own knowledge on what could be causing this, from using tools like MHWSaveTransfer, to creating a tool that directly launches from the .exe file in the root folder. At this point I question if I'm just stupid, or if there's something wrong with the game or vortex. Is vortex only able to launch a pre-Iceborne version of the game and thus destroys any saves? Is vortex bugged in some way? Is something forcing the game version to an inferior version when mods are used on purpose? Any help would be appreciated, it's frustrating dealing with garbage code and broken outdated versions of the game.

Like the title said, I don't know if I'm allowed to ask for World mods here, but since the link from World links to here I figure I'll ask. Is there anyway someone can make a mod, or edit a mod to remove the camera zoom in on killing a monster, and the ending HUD that shows the timer and where you can choose which location to go back to? Trying to make cool edits, but the HUD and the camera jerk kinda ruins the final product.

Has nobody made a mod to fix how glacially slow all the menus in this game are? So probably one of my biggest issues with world has always been how excruciatingly slow moving around in menus are. Open item box, wait a second before I can do anything. Open start menu, have to wait for the entire thing to swipe across my screen before I can select anything. Hell, the radial menu, a menu meant to enable fast crafting, makes you wait for the thing to extend out before you can use it. It's infuriating. I've waited since release for a mod to maybe fix this but it seems nobody has done it, or as far as I know *tried* to do it. Does anyone know if it just isn't possible or something? Because I know for a fact i'm not alone in thinking it's a problem and it is one of the stupidest decisions I can think of for a fast paced action game with so much menu management.
