In 1868, after Gallatin City was moved from its first location near the ferry to this location a little futher from the river, Jarvis Akin built the Gallatin City Hotel. The One story structure was the center of social life in the town. As the town faded the building became a barn.
The photos were taken during my Sunday trip to the city of Kislovodsk, located in a resort area in the North Caucasus

Hohensalzburg Castle
(German: Festung Hohensalzburg,
sits atop the Festungsberg, a small hill in the Austrian city of Salzburg.
Erected at the behest of the Prince-Archbishops of Salzburg with a length of 250 m (820 ft) and a width of 150 m (490 ft),
it is one of the largest medieval castles in Europe. Hohensalzburg Castle is situated at an altitude of 506 m.
