Possibly from a verb instead of a noun, or from a different noun
[edit]The Middle English verb 'horen' which means to commit adultery/fornication sounds a lot like Huren, and may be related. In English, 'hore' also meant moral foulness/corruption/sin, and 'hor' meant adultery/fornication.
- In German there exist the verb huren, but Hurensohn is best explained as Hure + Sohn meaning Sohn einer Hure or in English son of whore. -84.161.2.122 15:18, 19 January 2017 (UTC)
