Collier's Weekly

United States weekly magazine of news, politics and fiction, founded in 1888 by Peter Fenelon Collier and running until 1957. It was initially launched as Collier's Once a Week, then changed in 1895 to Collier's Weekly: An Illustrated Journal, shortened in 1905 to Collier's: The National Weekly and eventually to simply Collier's.

As a result of Peter Collier's pioneering investigative journalism, Collier's established a reputation as a proponent of social reform. It also published serialised fiction and non-fiction and popularised the so-called "short-short story", which often was printed on a single page.
