Hello, DoubleGrazing! Thank you for the review. May I ask what would be a suitable source in this case? The Merano Poetry Prize is very well known in the German-spaeking world and higly prestigious. Ich would certainly like to look for additional suitable sources. So if possible please give me a hint. Takeru Watanabe Takeru Watanabe (talk) 14:35, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
We need to see at least three sources that meet the WP:GNG standard, namely secondary published sources (books, newspapers, magazines, TV or radio programmes, etc.) that are both reliable and entirely independent of the subject, and that have of their own volition (not 'sponsored' content, advertorial, based on press releases, etc.) provided significant coverage of the subject. This is very helpful for me. Thank you very much! Best, Takeru Watanabe (talk) 19:34, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Following your advice, I have added new sources. In case you would like to have a look: Draft:Merano Poetry Prize Best! Takeru Watanabe (talk) 18:55, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Ipigott, thank you very much for your welcoming message, for your tips and for your kind offer of assistance. I'm looking very much forward to participating in the project. Best, Takeru Watanabe (talk) 17:29, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Ipigott, you kindly offered your assistence back in May. I've submitted my Draft:Mara-Daria Cojocaru recently and today it has been declined by User:Greenman (talk contribs‎): please see the stated reasons down below. What I don't understand is that there is no birth date in the draft about Cojocaru, only a birth year which is easily to verify via the external links. Also, my draft already uses reliable sources. I don't see how I could possibly give additional sources that are even more reliable. Please have a look at this, I could really use your advice. Best, Takeru Watanabe (talk) 20:46, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Takeru Watanabe: Please read the guideline I referred to, WP:BLP. References for living people are required to be inline. Statements being verified in an external link somewhere is not sufficient, and even in cases where they are not required, inline citations are far preferable. Why expect readers to have to look elsewhere? Greenman (talk) 21:52, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Greenman, thank you for your reply. I'm familiar with the guideline WP:BLP. But also, I find multiple Wikipedia articles not giving inline references for birth dates or birth years, for example the following: Daniel Kehlmann, Thomas Bernhard and Ann Cotten. Anyway, I think it does make sense to give a reference for a birth date that is easily accessible. So I'm going to add one reliable source for the birth date of Cojocaru inline. Concerning additional required sources I would be grateful if you could give me a hint to what in your oppinion is still missing or required. Best, Takeru Watanabe (talk) 09:56, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Youknow? (talk) 15:15, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Youknowwhoistheman, thank you for your re-review of my draft. Unfortunately, I do not quite understand what kind of additional sources I'm supposed to add. Do you mean the sources already given are not enough (concerning their number)? Or do you consider the quality of the sources not sufficient? I have looked at other literature prizes for German poetry and I find my draft quite good in comparison. For example, the Ernst Meister Preis für Lyrik only gives three references and the Peter-Huchel-Preis only six references that are not more in-depth or reliable than the ones given by me. Please help me out so that I can further improve the draft. Best, Takeru Watanabe (talk) 19:44, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
