Kit Bigelow and David E. Henderson

With regard to the copyright infringements at David E. Henderson and Kit Bigelow I am being threatened and attacked by User talk:Deh343 because of it, please could you help explain the situation to him, I don't think he understands the problem and I am scared by his manner! — Theroadislong (talk) 22:58, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

  • A distinctly unpleasant fellow. Do not hesitate to request a longer block if he resumes his attacks in 24hrs time. What do you think is the relationship is between Deh343 and B nikusha (talk · contribs)? Do you think a block for sock puppetry might be appropriate? Have you disclosed on Wikipedia where you live or is he just bluffing? On a pleasanter note, interesting co-incidence: would you like to help with KGV fields in Derbyshire - see above? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:32, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for your help. I don't know what the connection between the two users is, only that they are editing the same articles. I have not disclosed where I live to my knowledge, which is partly what scared me! It's been quite a few years since I looked at KGV fields, I'll take a look. Kind regards Theroadislong (talk) 08:10, 30 March 2012 (UTC)

I have retired after further threats off Wiki and on his user page. Jimmy Wales emailed me, to tell me to ignore him but I am frightened. All good wishes.Theroadislong (talk) 09:44, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

Did you get the email I sent a few days ago?Theroadislong (talk) 19:38, 5 April 2012 (UTC)

The picture was mine. And why would it be deleted after all this time. Rb360 (talk)

Dispute resolution

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is "David E. Henderson, Kit Bigelow". Thank you.

Deep democracy

Hello. I have read Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Deep democracy. And I would like to create "Deep Democracy" page using "Deep democracy" page re-create the deep democracy page. Because it looked like just there was not good editor at that time. Would you mind helping me? Composter (talk) 21:14, 31 March 2012 (UTC)

Off Wiki attack

We have been subject to a lot of unpleasant abuse which has over flowed to here... http://www.davidhenderson.com/2012/03/30/looking-behind-the-veil-of-wikipedia-and-who-is-pulling-the-levers/ where he is confusing us as being one person. I have been so frightened by his vitriol I have stopped editing for the time being. I don't know what can be done, Jimbo Wales has commented on the blog post. Kind regardsTheroadislong (talk) 23:07, 31 March 2012 (UTC)

  • I was intending to treat the rubbish with the contempt it deserves. But if you feel frightened, that is more than enough grounds for action to be taken. I suggest you raise the matter immediately at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents and by e-mail to info-en@wikimedia.org. Incidentally, re the dispute resolution thing (see above) - my reaction is "what dispute"? There just one <chose your own epithet> person who seems incapable of understanding what copyvio means. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:21, 31 March 2012 (UTC)

I noticed you were the last to delete the page and it appears to be locked to prevent recreation. I was wondering if it would be possible to create it as a disambiguation page under protection? This is a word which could refer to several things like:

Would this be good? Y12J (talk) 03:59, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

Felix Lupa deleted page

Thank you for your answer. Pls e-mail me a copy of the deleted article so I'll be able to correct your remarks, and e-mail it back for your review before re-uploading. Since I'm a new Wikipedia user, I wrote the article but did'nt actually created it, and also - any changes I made, brought us as an anonymous IP and nor a real person behind. A quick thanks for saving the image. My action was preemptive. --pl (talk) 00:51, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

If you have a moment, could you please look at this article and the one on her husband. There are some edits that should probably be redacted per WP:BLP. Editors with POV have been convicting them before they have stood trial! Thanks. Harry the Dog WOOF 08:20, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

  • So why cannot you redact them? Sorry, just not my scene. If you consider that these other editors are disruptive enough to justify blocking, feel free to come back to me. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:21, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

Didn't know I could. I thought these were only admin tools. Harry the Dog WOOF 10:33, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

I was referring to the newish admin tool that allows you to permanently redact edits that violate WP:BLP. Harry the Dog WOOF 05:27, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

  • Sorry, if I misunderstood. You are referring to what admins see as the "del/undel selected revisions" options. Redaction is a very general term which is not used in wikispeak for this operation. If you want me to delete certain revisions, you must tell me which ones! If you are actually referring to edits by Sonisona (talk · contribs), then I would say: these look to me like very carefully written edits which remain well within the law - "currently charged with" is the operative phrase used. Also they are heavily supported by references to reliable sources. If you really think those edits should be hidden, find someone else to do it. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:09, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

The one that you just restored is one of the problematic ones I'm afraid. The subheadline refers to "Fraud". No fraud has been proven. That is why I reverted it back to my wording post cleanup.

Extended content
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&oldid=485305595. It needs to be deleted, along with the orginal edits: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&oldid=485076964, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=485076964, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=485075700, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=485075566. The page as it now stands makes no unproven allegations.
There were the previous ones such as this one: "http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&oldid=485015479". I think "She later became a businessperson along with her husband Jawad Hasnain in the US and operated a scam" is definitely a violation of WP:BLP absent any conviction. It appears in most of the edits below, along with other problematic wording.
Other questionable ones are: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=485015479, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=485015200, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=484987450 (refers to "conviction" which is not the case), http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=484975108, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=484964897, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=484956849, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=484853461, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=484853354, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=484852240, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=484828250, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=484828048, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=484825704 (this and the following report allegations as though they were facts - "Jawad used the proceeds from investment scams to buy plastic surgery for Saman, as well as to pay for his Mercedes and the mortgage on the $2.2 million house ..." etc.), http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=484726487, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=484725808, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=484721296, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=484722846, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saman_Hasnain&direction=prev&oldid=484720417

Deletion of Pilz GmbH & Co. KG article

My name is Philip and I am currently working as student at Pilz. I am trying to adapt the Pilz article so that it fits to wikipedia standards. Actually its very hard for me cause I am pretty new to wikipedia. I tried my best to improve the article but it still has been deleted. So my question is if u can tell me the passages in the text which have to be changed.

Sorry if it did some english grammar mistakes :)

GeoHack OS Coding

According to this section at the toolserver, you were looking for access to the GeoHack coding. Did you ever get involved in it? If so, would you look at this recent discussion about lat/lon -> OS conversion errors and consider seeing if you can fix the problem? (I'm concerned that Jheald might have a coronary, so it would be a humanitarian act...) If you can't or don't have the time, could you refer us to someone who might? Not rushing you, but when you do it would you mind dropping a note on my talk page so I can add the maplink desired in the Geohack template discussion? I'd ordinarily not bother you with this, but other than repeated trial and error I don't know how I'd be able to know when it's done. "Whoosh" deletion

You've deleted the Whoosh page that I created a couple of days ago for reasons that are beyond my comprehension. Of course this wasn't "Unambiguous advertising or promotion", just as the Lucene, Sphinx (search engine) or Xapian pages aren't unambiguous advertising or promotion. Anyway, can you send me the archive of my contribution, for my own record. Regards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sfermigier (talkcontribs) 06:42, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

What are you doing. You did not even give me time to explain why the article should not be deleted. No one deletes an article on a Mayflower Passenger and Mayflower Compact signer. He is also mentioned in three other Wikipedia articles:

Please restore immediately. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mugginsx (talkcontribs)

I hope Jimbo treats your rant on his talk page with the contempt it deserves. Please look at my deletion log and tell me what is worth restoring in the three deletions that I have done. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:22, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
Mugginsx, please go ahead and explain why these need to stay, and RHaworth, did you put a speedy tag on these or just delete them, and since I can't see the content, what was there. Your deletion log gives me little insight into the content within these deleted pages. Also, I would think Mugginsx deserves a reply explaining why you deleted these rather than only a link to your deletion log. Thanks. -- Avanu (talk) 22:27, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
Have you actually looked at the deletion log? Do you see the Talk: prefix? The only stuff I deleted were three unimportant (and, in two cases, inappropriate) talk pages. Here is the entire content of Talk:William Mullins (Mayflower Pilgrim):
Talk:Edward Tilley (Mayflower Pilgrim) was the same. But nobody was proposing deletion of the associated article so what on earth was Mugginsx talking about? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:45, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

Will you listen? You had no right to do that. Do I take the titles off the UK articles? They do not mean much to Americans but I respect them, in fact I helped create many of them. There are Mayflower scholars and high school student and college student and the articles are kept together for access as well as importance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mugginsx (talkcontribs) and copied from Mugginsx.

This grows almost surreal. Will you please look at my deletion log and tell me carefully and clearly what is worth restoring in these three pages. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:50, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
OK, I have looked at your deletion log and it tells us almost nothing, unless there is some less obvious way to know a page's content after it is deleted. However, are you saying you only deleted Talk pages (not articles) for 'orphan' articles that were being moved or merged with other articles? -- Avanu (talk) 22:55, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
Avanu, First he put them up for speedy deletion and before I could finish explaining why they should NOT be deleted, he changed them to state the name WITHOUT the title i.e., identifying them as Mayflower Pilgrims (I said passengers before, I apologize). These people are little know except as a group and I and others thought that to identify them all in this manner would be better for researchers just the way TITLES are used in say the Earl of Chester who no American (unless a Wiki editor maybe) would know his name as Hugh d'Avranches. That is I think a fair analogy to an American. I respect you and will go with your opinion but I think I am correct in my strategy for students and researchers. Mugginsx (talk) 23:11, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
For goodness sake! Does not the log clearly say talk pages? Why do you need to ask me again? The content of two I have reproduced above. The content of Talk:John Tilley (Pilgrim) was "#REDIRECT [[Talk:John Tilley (Mayflower Pilgrim)]]". Do you understand now?
Additional questions to Mugginsx: your text that I have reproduced is contesting a speedy deletion. Perhaps I am a bit dim but I cannot see where the speedy deletion was being proposed in the first place. Please point me to it. Where did I "put them up for speedy deletion"? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:14, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
I saw it on my Watchlist but I no longer see it there. I am NOT CRAZY. I saw the Template for speedy deletion and answered on both templates why it should NOT be deleted and why it was notable. why would I answer the questions of "why it should not be speedily deleted if it didn't say it. The template WAS THERE Mugginsx (talk) 23:18, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
Well, did you hard-delete it? Mugginsx (talk) 23:28, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
What a storm in a teacup! I have restored Talk:William Mullins (Mayflower Pilgrim) so you can see what happened. You created the page with nothing but a ' character. Train2104 (talk · contribs) slapped a speedy tag on - meaning "delete this talk page". You saw it and thought it was proposing deletion of the actual article and wrote your totally unnecessary rationale. Far from ranting at me, you should be thanking me for tidying things up (but that is too much to hope for). But I do think you owe Jimbo an apology. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:54, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
My rationale was that the Mayflower pilgrims (as you might remember It was Mayflower Pilgrims not Passengers I mispoke) - are not known by their name and to make it easier for researchers and students we should all categorize them as Mayflower Pilgrims. I still think it is valid. If I am wrong I apoligize but it sure seemed like a speedy deletion template to me. I would ask you to reconsider the benefit of categorizing these persons with the understanding that since we do not have titles in America as you know, I and others think it was necessary to identify these persons who are notable for their deed but not necessarily by their name in some way to make it easier for researchers, and students and readers to find. I will no longer fight with you but I would ask you to reconsider under that rationale and for those persons I listed. Mugginsx (talk) 00:01, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

Though you have deleted this image from the page of Aligarh Muslim University and have put the old and distorted logo of University from commons, but its link at Facebook doesn't show the logo image unlike the previous one, i.e. AMU LOGO.jpg. • Please actually link properly, thus: file:AMU LOGO.jpg. I have no idea what you mean by "please make it appear at its link with no further delay". If you upload this logo once only to this Wikipedia and give it a proper fair use rationale, then there should be no problem. There are thousands of logos to show you how to do it. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:41, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

Elen of the Roads Observation

Just wanted you to know I did not make it up.

(Taken from User Jimbo Wales page:) Mugginsx (talk) 01:20, 8 April 2012 (UTC) :

I can explain some of it. Someone tagged Talk:William Mullins (Mayflower Pilgrim) for deletion as a testpage. Mugginsx created the page with only a full stop on it (by accident I suppose). RHaworth removed the speedy. Incidentally, Mugginsx, you moved Tilley from Edward Tilley, so RHaworth was only reverting your BOLD but unnecessary move. Elen of the Roads (talk) 01:04, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

  • Why are you telling me this? I gave you the correct version above. I do not not need Elen's garbled version: Mugginsx created the page with only ' not a full stop. RHaworth did not remove the speedy - he deleted the page. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 01:21, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

You deleted this per T3, but it is in use. — 174.56.57.138 (talk) 03:23, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

  • There were literally hundreds of Fb … templates to be deleted. If we made just one mistake, that is good going. It seems a bit pointless to have a template that is used in just one article. But I cannot see a different solution so I have restored it. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 08:39, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Gregory Stump

I was surprised to see that you speedily deleted Gregory Stump under criteria G7 "One author who has requested deletion or blanked the page" as: a) I had made significant edits to the page as well as the article's creator, User:GregoryStump‎; and b) User:GregoryStump‎ appears to have only made two edits (creating the page and linking to it at List of linguists), so he could not have blanked the page or requested its deletion, at least under that account (I can't see the article's history so I don't know what exactly happened after my last edit to the article). The subject of the article is referenced in five existing articles, and I believe that he does meet notability requirements, and as I have a passing interest in linguists I was planning to expand the article. Please would you consider undeleting the article, and if not, please userfy the last good version to my user page. Thanks. BabelStone (talk) 00:22, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

I am writing to request details about the page Justdecompile that was recently deleted. The reason for deletion that was cited was "Unambigious advertising or promotion". (talk page stalker) Please read Wikipedia:Copy-paste. Wikipedia has to treat anything previously published as copyrighted, unless it has been explicitly released into the public domain or under a license compatible with CC-BY-SA. Minor rewording does not avoid a copyright infringement. Also, just copying material in is not a good basis for an encyclopedia article: if it is to be kept, it needs to demonstrate notability by means of references showing significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources. Continuous Improvement Foundation

You deleted this page yesterday, with the reason: Not important/significant. I'm not that experienced with Wikipedia, and I think that I need more explanation about how an article about the organization Continuous Improvement Foundation is considered to be unimportant or insignificant. By the way, I read the A7 and still need more clarification. Also, you could've talked to me first :) Thanks Ahmad E Shahin (talk) 17:10, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

  • Talk page stalkers may be amused at the way that we (that is not entirely the royal we, John CD has joined the game) keep repeating parrot fashion: significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources. But that is the reason that thousands of articles get deleted - yours included. Did you actually read A7? Because I think it makes the same point perfectly clearly in slightly different words. Also, in your case, the article was derisorily short. Continuous improvement starts with the wiki article. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:54, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

- Go easy on me :D I did read the A7, but -forgive me- didn't get from the article what you just said.
According to what you said: my organization needs to be "a little bit famous" somehow, media talking about something that the organization did. Is that what you meant?
Also, it was short because I created it in a hurry, to include a "Look us up on Wikipedia" button :) I'm very busy putting this organization on its feet.
Anyway, I'll wait till the "Continuous Improvement Foundation" is ""notable"", then I'll see others make a good article about it :)
Thanks for your time.

David Abel Ray Phiri

I am unsure how to appeal the 'marked for deletion' as per your message of 22:10, 6 January 2010 (UTC) ..DARP had his obituary published in the Time yesterday. Surely this would merit inclusion in Wikipedia as well. I am working on more references and pictures (all copyrights are mine or that of my wife) as they are from personal archives, so please {{helpme}}. — SiphoPhiri (talk) 19:13, 10 April 2012 (UTC) Sipho Phiri

(talk page stalker) The proposed deletion was declined in January 2010 and the article has been significantly expanded since then. So it isn't under any threat of deletion at all. --Mrmatiko (talk) 19:30, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
(edit conflict):(talk page stalker) (again - I'm not planning to take over management of your talk page completely, but I happened to see this one because it had a "helpme" in it... JohnCD (talk) 19:35, 10 April 2012 (UTC)) I have explained to this user that the PROD notice from you on their talk page about David Phiri that they are worrying about was over two years old and so is history. JohnCD (talk) 19:35, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

hey

If you did not get my message about telling my dad about wikipedia just a little reminder.--72.160.169.227 (talk) 23:28, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

Hi RHaworth. You deleted this article as (A1: Short article with not enough context to identify the subject). The opening sentence of the article was: bhalakhar is beautiful village of tehsil kallar syedan. My English is pretty poor, but I can understand the context quite easily. I've restored and wikified the page. Please, let me know if you have any objections. Thanks. --Vejvančický (talk | contribs) 10:25, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

I'm not aware of any policy prohibiting article titles differing only in capitalisation. In fact, WP:PRECISE condones such titles, using MAVEN/Maven and Red meat/Red Meat as examples. – hysteria18 (talk) 17:40, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

You recently speedily deleted the article University of California finances. Did you notice that I had contested the deletion on the talk page? 72Dino (talk) 23:36, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

  • Developing it in the sandbox first is a better approach. I was a little concerned when the article was deleted even though it was contested on the talk page, but I think that the process for starting the new article will now go smoother. Other editors generally won't know about the stub in the sandbox, but at least there will now be some content when it is put back in article space. 72Dino (talk) 23:54, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

Markus Vinzent

It appears that this page has been lifted from, guy's page on the KCL website. I saw that you deleted a simlar page Markus Vincent, was it a duplicate copy of Markus Vinzent? Or if it is different, could you undelete it and maybe use it instead of the copyrighted version? – Gsingh (talk)

Deletion of Squash TM article

Hi, You deleted my article because of unambiguous advertising or promotion. But I don't think I put any jugement, and remember to have been carefull to keep my writing factual. Could you please tell me more precisely what I did wrong in order to improve my writing. Thanks in advance. MagP (talk) 08:04, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

Referencing style

Would you please look at the references I have done so far on this: John Crackstone ? Have more to enter but they are not URIs, at least I do not expect any more URIs. Oops, had to fix something. Thank you. Mugginsx (talk) 17:45, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

Hello, RHaworth. You have new messages at RHaworth's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
I have been spending hours learning how to reference the URIs the way you showed me. I have now changed them on two articles and am now working toward going backward to all of my articles. I have not had time to learn to deduplicate and I do not know if I even can or want to. I am just getting better at the first thing you taught me.
I appreciate all that you have done for me in teaching me the URIs. I knew nothing of programming before I came to Wikipedia and have been sick with cancer two times in the intervening times. I use it to relax and try to do my best. If my work is inferior I am sorry and will constantly try to make it better to the best of my ability. Thank you. Mugginsx (talk) 22:16, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

Unprotection

Almost exactly three years ago you protected Dogeared from creation for spamming reasons. Well, since then an AfC has been submitted and one the strength of a few articles I think it would be acceptable. Would you be okay with unprotecting the page and the acceptance of the article? I'll take care of the move if you decide to unprotect (got some fancy AfC tools that do extra stuff). Thanks in advance, Nolelover Talk·Contribs 18:19, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

  • Whom are you trying to kid? The AfC submission has been rejected by three different people. I will act when the draft has been accepted at AfC and the person doing the acceptance comes here and requests unprotection (or, if they are an admin, they may unprotect it themselves). — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 06:55, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

I am accepting it. However, moving the page to mainspace is the only way to actually 'accept' it. Sorry for not making that clear. I am an AfC reviewer (see here and here for some evidence of my work with the project) and after a request by the the creator at the project's help desk I decided the article would be acceptable, though obviously not perfect. As you can see, another AfC regular (User:Pol430) endorsed the decision. It is a common misconception that AfC reviewers cannot simply accept articles if the submission has been previously declined or is not technically 'submitted' at the time. I assure you those are both false, and what I am asking is not out of order in any way, shape or form. Thank you, Nolelover Talk·Contribs 11:17, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

C.P Dubb

Trying to start wiki page for C. P. Dubb. It's for a music producer. Has a lot of music currently in radio rotation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.202.68.228 (talk) 01:24, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

Yesterday morning, you deleted the above article on the grounds that it is a hoax. The article had been prodded on the grouns of unreferenced and non notable. The article had been created the day before it was prodded. I thought the article was a good faith attempt to fill a hole, so to speak. Therefore I objected on the grounds that the prod was to quick and the article should be left a little while to allow for improvements (it being too close to my bedtime to do any more). About an hour later I got a message from a "friend" of the prodder asking for an explanation. About 40 minutes after that, you deleted the article anyway, so as it stands, there is no means of rectifying any problem whether real or apparant. Who actually determines whether an article is in fact a blatant hoax or not? Any way, I have a reference that would support the article and the information stated within it (and the correct information if the information given is in anyway inaccurate). I would appreciate it if it were possible for the article to be undeleted so that its deficiencies can be rectified. Op47 (talk) 12:39, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

Having stripped out some dubious-looking stuff and then Prodded it as unref and non-notable (do we need an article about every single given name? Probably not), I was surprised to see it deleted as a hoax: (a) PROD would have given the original editor a week to find sources or otherwise justify its existence, and (b) it certainly exists as a name, as there are two WP articles on people with it. All a bit strange. PamD 16:15, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

A42

I know, I got so lost in the maze of A42 redirects to the Northern Ireland road (I struggled even to find the original article) that I panicked! Thanks for picking up the pieces Jimfbleak - talk to me? 16:28, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

Request for undeletion

I request that you undelete Glucojasinogen (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views). As you will be able to ascertain from the archived discussion on Jimmy Wales' talk page, it was judicially created. It was also tagged with {{R from other namespace}} which would also have been a heads-up about this. __meco (talk) 21:41, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

What I meant is that this is a highly unusual situation. It is the documentation of a case where a vandal's insertion of fictitious information has been plagiarized by two peer-reviewed scientific publications. I inform you of this per your question just in case you didn't appraise yourself of the discussion on Jimbo's talk page. I'm basically citing WP:IAR for this exceptional matter, and I was hoping you would see that this is in fact an excellent axample of where this guideline is needed. For that reason I await your reconsideration before going to deletion review. __meco (talk) 22:59, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

Vedat Akman

Hi, In some of the discussion page you said that page probably created by Vedat Akman himself. I must say that it isn't true. Plase remove your message. Thanks. Bir Miktar Bilgi — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bir Miktar Bilgi (talkcontribs) 12:29, 14 April 2012 (UTC)

  • I only said "probably". You are at liberty to refute my allegation at the places where I have made it. Your refutation will carry more weight if you disclose your true identity, but I must stress that doing so is entirely optional. You could also disclose what is your interest in or connection with Vedat Akman. Incidentally, you may care to contact Beykenthoca (talk · contribs) who made some cack-handed attempts to protest the deletion of these articles. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:24, 14 April 2012 (UTC)

BE@TKiCKEDiN

It has come to my attention that you have been deleting an article I have worked for hours and hours on and have not saved at all. I demand you restore the article for its original purpose. You also noted to me that the page had no reason to it and was not important when I clearly stated that the article was put up as the content on the article was clearly notable and about a famous musician and YouTuber who has thousands of subscribers and has recorded in the world's most famous recording studio. I demand that my article is put back up onto Wikipedia and that you start doing your job properly instead of making teenagers think they have done something wrong. Good day. BE@TKiCKEDiN (talk) 12:57, 14 April 2012 (UTC)

  • I am willing to e-mail you a copy of your text but: a) tell me which article you are talking about and b) read this. You have recourse to deletion review. Please moderate your language. Phrases such as "users like you disgust me", "banned from posting on this page" or "demand you restore the article" will simply antagonise people against you. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:24, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
