I may from time to time enforce micro Wikibreaks ... in December 2019 these are being typically set of a number of hours but particularly to amount of time I have spent wrt AfD and spin off etc etc. I may occasionally break those with IP edits when I can't resist but that will hopefully usually be rare. Thankyou.

When I am finding of the rightful version of a break template that describes me I'll put it there. My target is to have a break; I certainly have a at the time of this post a number of noticeboard discussions I have participated in and have some commitment to follow through subject to RL:, and I am aware I have library books on loan that I use for reference sources that I can't keep borrowed forever ....

Rejected memebr of Template:User typo team and not proud of it.

Do what you will. I do not understand stops. I write my work so completely for the ear that I feel helpless when I have to measure pauses by stops & commas.

W.B. Yeats, Chiswell, Oxford, 13 July 1915 to Bridges

Let X be a piece of technology: Quote: All this X, when its right then its all right, but when its wrong its very wrong.

- From a farmer where X = intensive farming: applies to disk raid cards, Enterprise SAN storage, cloud storage, certain clever aeroplanes, automatic car driving systems, delivery drones, car ECU units, braking systems, Wikipedia BOTs, ....

Please don't send me barnstars or Wikilove ... they usually precede a totally unrelated WikiBad thing occurring in my domain. But by all means call me a random person, I smiles and add that tally to me sleeve. Alternatively think of me as Victor Meldrew. Thankyou.

Alt.Accounts: (1) I have another account from about 10 years bigdelboy (talk · contribs) that never did anything until I self WikiBreakEnforced this one in January 2020 when I resurrected it to circumvent my break. I sort of have a strange idea I might use it for bots or bulk stuff ... but in general using it may get me in more rather than less problems. (2) I have a further account Djm-mobile (talk · contribs) for on-the-road use on less secure devices ... notably the Parkie library where HCC's IP's are typically blocked and anon edits are not possible.

6 April 2020: Over the past 2/3 days and perhaps at times over the next 2 or 3 days I have have to deal with some pressing RL activities involving my family ... minor thankfully compared to some peoples problems. This has stalled some things I'd like to be doing on WP. I will gradually get round to some things .... at times I may do something in a specific discrete area (e.g. Timothy Burstall). There's also some discussions that have been interrupted and I may withdraw from .... I know I have a couple of intense periods coming up ... I'm also aware free time may suddenly just emerge at of nowhere. Thankyou.Djm-leighpark (talk) 22:39, 6 April 2020 (UTC)

I am aware I have now lost traction on where I was ... but have good faith intent to resume on the loose ends .... and tend to prioritise vandalism/issues on the watchlist (usually shorter) and AfDs/Prod interventions. I'm expecting mainly getting back onto track with a Norris loco. draft (that helps B&GR and Lickey) and forresters; GSR, Coey stuf ... but plan and actuality usually end up different. Thankyou.Djm-leighpark (talk) 10:12, 3 May 2020 (UTC)

The WB answer be like: "Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold; mere anarchy is loosed upon the world, the blood–dimmed tide be loosed, and everywhere the ceremony of innocence be drowned; the best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity. Surely some revelation be at hand; surely the second coming is at hand." — so likely gets the barnstar.

Potential/Actual COI Stuff

[edit]
This user has publicly declared that they have a conflict of interest regarding these Wikipedia articles:
  • Railway Preservation Society of Ireland
  • Luas
  • Raymond O'Neill, 4th Baron O'Neill
  • Declaring COI. If this needs to be upped to paid then feel free to discuss, but that would be pretentious. I might jokingly accept a bottle of stout in relation to a WikiPedia article, but that's it, and I don't think I've every actually done that!). I joined the IRRS in maybe circa 2020. I have been editing Irish railway related article's since maybe 2017 and hoped joining the IRRS just pre-Covid Pandemic and hoped would help in finding sources beyond the library I'd been accumulating. I don't believe I have, or will, particularly choose IRRS sources or articles written/books by IRRS sources in selecting citations for articles. I have been involved in RPSI drama over August 2021: On 20210825 09:30 ish I attempted to join the RPSI 3 times online (with transaction rejected!) From this timepoint all edits to that page by me will be under COI. I have a COI on Raymond O'Neill, 4th Baron O'Neill in terms of his RPSI activities, but not really otherwise, so it only really comes into play if I bring out his RPSI activities. In my frustrated handling of vandalism and admin interventions and non-interventions my vandalism revert summary at [1] began a COI at that point ... which also related to Draft:Carl Michael Kinsella ... which I swung to AfC (unsubmitted). There are arguements one of more of these should move to paid ... My actions are likely not endorsed by above organisation etc. etc. etc. sort of Safe Harbour thing

More intelligibly I'll add a page about COI stuff at User:Djm-leighpark/COI
