The Last Detective[1] (ISBN 978-1-569-47209-5) is a book written by Peter Lovesey[2][3] and published by Soho Crime[4] (now owned by Penguin Random House[5]) in 1991, which later went on to win the Anthony Award for Best Novel in 1992.[6]
