Hastings and Rye

[edit]

I have moved Hastings and Rye to Independent following Amber Rudd's decision to resign the Conservative whip. Some reports see to suggest that she is styling herself as an Independent Conservative, but as that is not an official party and others seem to just suggest she is an Independent I think this is best for now, but obviously this may change if a new Independent Conservative group emerges in parliament.Dunarc (talk) 22:53, 7 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of MEPs/Euro-Constituency details from this template

[edit]

As the UK has now formally left the EU the South East England European constituency no longer exists and all the sitting MEPs ceased to be MEPs on 31 January 2020 when the UK left. Therefore, I have removed the South East England European constituency section of the template that gave details of the party affiliation and make up of the Members of the European Parliament for South East England, as it is no longer current information.
