missing years + sources

[edit]

Some of these POTY templates have loads of missing years and not many sources, so I thought I'd take a stab at a few. With Accrington Stanley, these days the official award seems to be the one awarded at an end-of season dinner by the Official Accrington Stanley Supporters Trust (OASST) as evidenced by the club tweeting about it here and the fact that when announced by both the club and the trust, the date and winners match e.g. here and here

If anyone gets a proper official list at any point, that supersedes this research which relies on a lot of throwaway comments in news articles the further back you go! Also the award definitely goes further back than this (I saw reference to it existing in the 1980s) but after a while it just gets impossible to trace.

I will update the template shortly Nonleagueapps (talk) 12:14, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
