Christian Zionism

[edit]

Why is there not a section on Christian Zionism or British Political Zionism?--Wool Bridge (talk) 13:48, 25 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

First sentence of section "Political Zionism" says "Political Zionism was led by Theodor Herzl and Max Nordau in Russia." They were not in Russia. Herzl was initially active in Austria. Nordau also in Austria. I believe both were born in Hungary. Herzl also organized the First Zionist Congress in Basel at which Nordau also spoke (https://www.britannica.com/biography/Theodor-Herzl). Simplest edit would just be to delete "in Russia". 24.62.207.17 (talk) 10:28, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Verification

[edit]

"The common definition of Zionism was principally the endorsement of the Jewish people to establish a Jewish national home in Palestine, secondarily the claim that due to a lack of self-determination, this territory must be re-established as a Jewish state."

This sentence is attributed to "Berlin, Adele (2011). The Oxford Dictionary of the Jewish Religion. Oxford University Press. p. 813", but was not able to confirm this is in the book. Hogo-2020 (talk) 06:01, 20 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
