The result of the move request was: No move. Consensus is that while this song receives more page views, it is too recent to tell if this is a long-standing pattern. The question will be worth revisiting at a later time as page views even out. Cúchullain t/c 14:30, 4 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

– Following Talk:This Girl (Stafford Brothers and Eva Simons song)#Requested move 3 July 2016, which was closed two weeks ago with a consensus to move, this article has received the vast majority of page views of all topics named "This Girl". Page view statistics show that the disambiguation page is inconveniencing a significant number of readers who are most likely looking for this article. The Cookin' on 3 Burners song is also the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for "This Girl" with regards to long-term significance, because it has charted at single digit positions in many national charts, including #1 in a few charts, compared to the Stafford Brothers and Eva Simons song, which has only charted at a double-digit position in a single chart. Why is this being treated as a "Kungs vs Cookin' on 3 Burners" song?

[edit]

Why does it mention that it is "performed by Kungs" and is a "remix" of the "original"? Shouldn't this refer to the original 2009 release? This makes as much sense as putting "Waves is a song performed by Robin Schultz, and is a remix of Mr Probz' original" on the article of that song in question. --82.3.247.25 (talk) 23:43, 18 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
