Reorganize?

[edit]

I suspect that instead of starting with the fictionalized version of Matt Cvetic from I Was a Communist for the FBI, it would make more sense to start with the real Matt Cvetic and have a separate section on the fictional version(s) of him (as played by Dana Andrews on the radio and Frank Lovejoy in the movie). I don't have the time to do the research or reorganize this right now, but if someone wants to it might make a nice little project. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 08:27, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, this is a definite puff piece. The real Matt Cvetic was clearly not an FBI agent when he joined the CPUSA; rather, he was an ideologically committeed Communist who became disenchanted and sold out - or maybe just sold out for cynical, personal reasons. <eleland/talkedits> 04:00, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Wait, I'm remembering it wrong. He was a government mole, but the FBI cut him loose when they realized he was an incompetent drunk who was just making things up and passing them along as intelligence. <eleland/talkedits> 02:10, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
