AfD material?

[edit]

The only ref is a NY Times obit, but people with mentions in NYT are AfD'd all the time. For all readers know this is trumped up material about a relative nobody. Let's see some real refs showing he was a notable academic. Thanks. Carolmooredc (Talkie-Talkie) 18:39, 21 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dear carolmoorerdc,
This:
Brunner, Karl, and Allan H. Meltzer (1971). "The Uses of Money in the Theory of an Exchange Economy." American Economic Review 61 (Dec.): 784-805...
is one of the most cited papers of mid-20th Century economics.
