A quote from the articles states: "Invincible played a large part in winning the largest naval war since WWII". What was this naval war? CharlesC 18:05, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know, might it be referring the Falklands? Nick Kerr 23:26, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

All of them are scrapped?

Deletion of image

[edit]

Deletion of images need to be accompanied by edit summary explanation or discussion on this page. An unidentified user has twice tried to delete an image on two occasions from different IP addresses. Content is by consenus so discussion could well lead to result desired, but current method is crossing line of vandalism. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by HJ32 (talkcontribs) 15:15, 6 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Image reverted on 7 Feb for same issue described as above

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

COGAG

[edit]

The propulsion is given as COGAG but then some diesels are listed in the propulsion system, while the could be back up, it seems the system is more likely CODAG or CODOG?--Kitchen Knife (talk) 14:12, 2 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If all are scrapped, what is this then? 80.151.9.187 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:56, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

That has to be an older image of when Illustrious was still in port. She left Portsmouth in December 2016, bound for Turkey. She was the last her class to be scrapped. It's an old image... what else could it be? - wolf 18:33, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
