From the other article, it says the annual global sales surpassed 2.8 million. Are those 2.8 million units (bikes) or dollars, or some other unit?

RE: "Maestro"

[edit]

This paragraph on Giant's "maestro" suspension system is straight (and shameless) ad-copy and ought to be removed. Indeed, the insertion of such obvious ad-copy only serves to call into question everything else that is written here. Certainly, Giant ought to recognize this fact (and thus remove it on their own, for their own sake).

www.sinemetre.net I agree. The Maestro section is not in the NPOV or Encyclopedic voice and cheapens the authority of the article. Recommend re-write. JaySeaAre 16:38, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"maestro"

[edit]

The rewrite on "Maestro" is quite good (in my view); thanks (to someone) for the effort. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.106.114.133 (talk) 06:11, 13 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Should it be "Giant Bicycle Inc" instead of "Giant Manufacturing"?

[edit]

It's a company with own brand operation. "Giant Bicycle Inc" is more precise to describe it. I suggest to rename the keyword. Ml520 (talk) 06:54, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Models

[edit]

This article is very outdated, and it doesn't include any new information on the 2013 line. Newer sources, please? --GoofyLittleWonder196 (talk) 23:39, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Innovation?

[edit]

When the article says: "[An] innovation that featured on the original TCR bikes included a height adjustable stem ..." where exactly is the innovation? Stems have been height-adjustable since forever - the new thing in the last 15-20 years is the non-adjustable stem, where handlebar height can only be changed by a very limited capacity for spacers under the stem.

Merger Proposal

[edit]

I've been working the orphaned pages and I came across the article Mosh Giant. The article claims that Giant used to make BMX bikes under that brand, so it would make sense to me if it was simply merged into Giant, but the article is confusing at best and I have no experience in bicycling, so I wanted to gather opinions. hell no, giant make more than mtb — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.7.94.225 (talk) 02:45, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I am a copywriter for Giant working to update and correct facts on this article. Mosh should not be merged with Giant Bicycles, as Mosh was its own brand. Giant manufactures bikes for many other brands as well, but this Giant article is focused on the Giant brand, not others such as Mosh. I am not experienced in Wikipedia editing but I request that this merger proposal please be removed. Velowriter (talk) 15:40, 25 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Closing proposal, given the uncontested opposition. Klbrain (talk) 15:08, 22 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
