NPOV tag

[edit]

I added the NPOV tag to the newly created "Controversy" section within the article. I debated adding this section myself quite some time ago, but there is no widespread support to remove the statue—just salty opinions. Of course, there are some negative opinions about the statue, yet the current quote used in the section is mostly a personal attack on Custer himself and may not even have a place in this article. Should a controversy section continue to exist in the statue article, there needs to be numerous reputable opinions from both sides. —Notorious4life (talk) 21:45, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've tried to make a segment that clarifies things and paint the section in a more neutral light. I feel that makes the section pass the neutrality test, but if I'm wrong feel free to change it back. Scu ba (talk) 17:17, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
