How many stories was this building? May 2007 fire?

[edit]

The article refers to this building as having been 40, 41 and 42 stories tall. Perhaps they whomever knows how tall this building was should change that. Second the section titled "May 2007" fire is confusing. Was there a fire in May or just the one in August? I'm not sure what a pipe falling through a fire station has to do with a fire. Did the pipe fall because of a fire? AmbrosiaKC (talk) 12:57, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Demolished in December 2008???

[edit]

Then what partially deconstructed building is occupying 130 Liberty in mid-January 2009? Schreierdm (talk) 00:43, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's still there, as of April 2009. That part definitely needs to be changed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.167.136.243 (talk) 23:16, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mummified human remains?

[edit]

Is this even accurate? I was under the impression that for a body to be mummified, it had to be prepared after death in some way for burial. I seriously doubt that those killed on 9/11 in the Twin Towers had their remains prepared for burial in any way. Do I simply have an incorrect definition of mummification? Can someone offer some perspective on this?CloutierFan02 (talk) 13:41, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I also have a picture of the building as it stands today in process of being gutted for demolition and will upload that later Censorwolf 14:41, 8 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Where does this "future WTC Tower 5" come from?! References?! It is confusing, since this site/building never WAS "WTC 5", and none of the new towers seem to use the WTC designation, using street addresses instead?! Hillsboro 22:32, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like a couple of references were added yesterday. The State of New York press release makes reference to the 130 Liberty Street property being used for "the fifth office tower on the site." I'd say that's sufficient to remove the citation request from the heading. Tim Messer 21:12, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I work overlooking the WTC site, and took some photos last week, including of the Deutsche Bank building. Pieces are now being removed from the top. Please feel free to use my photos (they are CC licensed) - e.g. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikebroberts/440820107/ (Mike Roberts)

The 'remains' section deffinately needs a bit of re-writing. I've done a bit of research and I'm pretty sure the claim that bodies were found in 2002 is untrue, as shown in this. This article states that bodies were found in 2006, and it makes no reference to any bodies found previous to this date. I'd be happy to rewrite it if people agree it needs doing. --Norman22b (talk) 07:47, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge section with World Trade Center Tower 5

[edit]

I'd like to ask the editors of this article to help with the expansion of the above mentioned article. The section regarding the future of the site should be merged into the new article and shortened or rephrased in this article. Thank you. JRWalko 03:07, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures from the 8-18-07 fire

[edit]

I took photos at the site this afternoon, and I uploaded them to commons under this category. It's now 1:23 AM the following morning and I'm now too exhausted to do much with them myself, so if anyone thinks any of my other photos would improve the article, please feel free to use them. Images

[edit]

Does anybody have an image of the building in its current state? Demolition has resumed, so I am assuming that the structure has been reduced significantly since October.Meteorico (talk) 21:55, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrite!

[edit]

The narrative in this article is confused by all the additions over time. The as-ofs are confusing in particular.24.6.207.95 (talk) 19:03, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
