Improvements

[edit]

Needs major cleanup and expansion. Macgreco 18:56, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree

[edit]
Yes, should be merged. Ludovicapipa yes? 15:09, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

I corrected some broken links (Suba, Blitz and RPM). However, other links in the article refer to an existing page, but the content in that article is not about the same subject. Namely:

  • Tokyo, Supla's band. Article in portuguese: pt:Tokyo_(banda)
  • Ritchie, a musician born in England. Article in portuguese: pt:Ritchie
  • Metrô, a brazilian band. Article in portuguese: pt:Metrô_(banda)
  • Biopsy, a band? No article in Portuguese wikipedia.
  • Harry, a band? No article in Portuguese wikipedia.
  • City Limits, a band? No article in Portuguese wikipedia.
  • Inhumanoids, a band? No article in Portuguese wikipedia.
  • Morgue, a band? The article in Portuguese redirects to the arcticle about the actual morgue.
  • Strike, a band. Article in portuguese: pt:Strike
  • Gram, a band created in 2002 and finished in 2007. Article in portuguese: pt:Gram (banda)
  • Mada, a music festival held every year. Article in portuguese: pt:Mada
  • Calango, a music festival? No article in Portuguese wikipedia.
  • Trama, a record label. Article in portuguese: pt:Trama (gravadora)
  • Moptop, a band created in 2003. Article in portuguese: pt:Moptop
  • Violins, a band? No article in Portuguese wikipedia.
  • Astronautas, a band? There is an article in english about a Portuguese band with that name. Since this article is about Brazilian music, I suppose they're not related.
  • Karma links to a heavy metal band created in 1992 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.90.144.53 (talk) 01:20, 25 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not very experient in this editting stuff, so I don't know what to do about these incorrect links. Should I create redlinks, such as Tokyo to avoid confusion, for example? Any help will be useful. --Presto K. (talk) 07:14, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, looks like someone removed most of these links already. --Presto K. (talk) 18:53, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Astronautas

[edit]

There is a band named Astronautas too, from Recife, Brazil. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.47.150.35 (talk) 15:51, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, they're already mentioned in the article. But, as I said in the "'Broken' links" part of talk page, the only article about "Astronautas" in wikipedia is about a portuguese band. Maybe you could start an article about the brazilian Astronautas? --Presto K. (talk) 19:42, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I can try. The Astronautas is currently one of the most prize-winning and renowned bands of the brazilian indie scene. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.47.150.35 (talk) 21:30, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

I would consider removing every (or nearly every) one of those redlinks if articles for them are not going to be created any time soon. FireCrystal (talk) 23:20, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The current indenpendent scene is very important

[edit]

The 90's important maimstream international names and the prolific and inventive current (XXI century) independent brazilian rock/pop thrown out. . .It's pathetic for one of the most important musical scenes of the planet, really. Regrettable, the music is missing about this act. What about remake with good references? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.27.166.25 (talk) 04:15, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The brazilian musicians

[edit]

English text can be improved, but the chronological presentation of artists is certainly very legitimate —Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.34.168.200 (talk) 03:34, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Pupila Dilatada

[edit]

I removed the recent Pupila Dilatada band because I understand that in the beginning of the subitem Brazilian Punk has sense in this context if approaching only the pioneers in the 70s and 80s. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.34.175.11 (talk) 00:30, 1 March 2011 (UTC) Ok, this band is very faithful to the original brazilian style and "gaúcho" (from Rio Grande do Sul State) punk rock and it is honest to put in the final of this subitem.[reply]

Put Legião Urbana photo please

[edit]

Put Chico Science and Nação Zumbi photo please

Full of redlinks.

This issue seems to have persisted for a long time and the articles are yet to be created. Gamergirlyt9 (talk) 11:54, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
