Description

[edit]

Why does the description of her in the first paragraph look over the fact that she has FOUR ARMS‽ Novjunulo (talk) 19:26, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not all the depictions of Bharat Matha has four arms. The one in the Bharat Mata temple in Haridwar has four arms.

Significance

[edit]

The Significance section contains original research and the sole one reference it has is not verifiable. Could not find any valid reference to add to the section. It should be removed. Anu Raj (talk) 16:34, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removed unreferenced content. The origin of the anthropomorphic depiction of India as Bharat Mata started with the nationalist movement and freedom struggle. [1]Anu Raj (talk) 15:12, 5 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
