Not sure who assesses these articles, but the topic of this one is important. The article needs a lot of work to clean up and expand. I completed the list of presidents of the ASA - although we all would agree that some of them are more famous than the rest, the previous limitation to "notable presidents" seemed a bit arbitrary. As more bios are developed for the scholars who have served in this capacity, the Category:Presidents of African Studies Association should be created. --A12n (talk) 03:21, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
