Raymond Carr

[edit]

The Accident is based on an event in the life of the Oxford Don Raymond Carr. Carr was a friend of Nicholas Moseley. After the appearance of the film he feared he might lose his job, but the scandal blew over and caused no lasting harm to his career. The incident is referred to in a review of a biography of Raymond Carr called Raymond Carr, La curiosidad del zorro by María Jesús González that appeared on 23 August 2011 in the Times Literary Supplement. The article is entitled Oxford, Spain and the High Life and is signed by Ronald Fraser. Everybody got to be somewhere! (talk) 17:44, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
