Buin-e Sofla (Persian: بوئين سفلي)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Nanur District of Baneh County, Kurdistan province, Iran.[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Buin Rural District.[5]

The city is populated by Kurds.[6]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 1,069 in 206 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 1,458 people in 324 households.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 1,518 people in 403 households.[2]
