New FSF Address
[edit source]It seems that the Free Software Foundation changed their address from 59 Temple Place (address given in this license) to 51 Franklin St (address given at http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/fdl.html and other GNU web pages). Interpreting the GFDL
[edit source]If one had questions regarding the interpretation of sections of the GFDL, where would one go for "official" answers? -- Jason C Daniels 21:37, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- The GNU project maintains the GFDL, so if you needed some "official help" about it, you could ask the GNU people about it on their website. In general, people around here have grown pretty knowledgable about it over time, so we can typically give you a good explanation if you need one. Also, because of the high-volume of images, the admins at Wikimedia commons have become experts on the subject in their own right, so you can consider asking questions there too. --Whiteknight (talk) (projects) 21:56, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
Heading levels
[edit source]The heading levels make in difficult to include this in printable versions, I think. Can we change it so that the sections are === rather than ==? That way each section of the GFDL won't be at the same level as a book chapter (the entire GFDL should be at the same level as a chapter, and GFDL sections should be the heading equivalent of a section within a chapter). —Chowbok 04:29, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

- Funny, yesterday I copied this Page for de.wikibooks and thought about the same thing.
- My work a round is {{{1|==}}}, which allow use to use h2-headings or simple bold with '''.
- When I think about it, {{{1|<h2>}}} {{{2|</h2>}}}, is the most flexible solution.

As Whiteknight has written above, second level heading in this text are correct. Chapter titles in print versions should be level one. --Derbeth talk 20:17, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
