Greek life

edit

most of this section is unsourced by third-party sources. I suggest we reduce the section to a general mention that there are some fraternities. Since none of the historical information is verifiable, I propose deletion. The events of 2013 should remain in the article, however, since they are verifiable. What do you think, @GuardianH? --Melchior2006 (talk) 08:48, 24 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

I don't think the entire Greek life section should be deleted. It would probably be best to tag it with citations needed and trim all supplementary material to source. GuardianH (talk) 12:52, 24 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Sounds good. --Melchior2006 (talk) 13:27, 24 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Suggested Update: PNCA Merger

edit

Hi there, I was hoping to suggest an addition to the first section of the page. Here is some draft language, but I am open to suggestions or changes from a Wikipedia editor.

"On September 17, 2020, Willamette announced that it would merge with the Pacific Northwest College of Art. It finalized the merger on June 30, 2021."

Suggested Updates: School of Computing & Information Sciences and Ecotrust Building

edit

Hi there, I have another suggested update to the Willamette University page. This could be added to the first section or created as a sub-section. Below is some suggested language and sources, but I am open to feedback from editors.

In 2023, Willamette created the School of Computing & Information Sciences to house its undergraduate and graduate programs in computer science and data science.

On May 8, 2024, the university announced that it would relocate its Masters in Data Science, Masters in Business Administration for professionals, and Masters in Computer Science programs to the Natural Capital Center in downtown Portland, Oregon.
