John Lennon didn't ask Ringo to join The Beatles. Brian Epstein did. See here https://laughingsquid.com/brian-epstein-asked-ringo-starr-to-join-the-beatles/ 2600:1700:5AC0:4000:5D67:E294:8C70:7E65 (talk) 04:10, 12 May 2023 (UTC)
- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. The lede does not say who asked him to join. What change are you asking for? RudolfRed (talk) 17:28, 12 May 2023 (UTC)
Songwriting
editThe authors in the section "Musiscianship / Songwriting" and in the beginning of the whole entry skip two songs to which Starr contributed as a writer: "Free as a bird" and "Real love", both released under the name The Beatles. Alejandroflopezz (talk) 15:34, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Alejandroflopezz: Ringo has no writing credit for "Real Love", nor does McCartney or Harrison. The section is not meant to be an exhaustive list of his credits. He is listed at Anthology 1#Track listing. Sundayclose (talk) 15:54, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
Home - conflict of information in the article
editIn the Personal life section, we have Ringo and his wife splitting their time between LA and Monte Carlo at the beginning of the paragraph about his homes. But at the end of the paragraph their time is divided between LA and London. Boscaswell talk 10:23, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- But he sold the Cranleigh property 12 years ago? So they can't be spending any time there any more? The supporting source is 20 years old. Martinevans123 (talk) 11:10, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
