Description

I have noticed the UI bug on theme-install.php page.

Environment

  • WordPress: 6.6-beta1 and 6.6-beta2
  • PHP: 8.1.23
  • Server: nginx/1.16.0
  • Database: mysqli (Server: 8.0.16 / Client: mysqlnd 8.1.23)
  • Browser: Chrome 125.0.0.0 (macOS)
  • Theme: Twenty Twenty-Four 1.1
  • MU-Plugins: None activated
  • Plugins:
    • WordPress Beta Tester 3.5.5

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the Dashboard
  2. Goto Appearance
  3. Click on "Add New Theme" button
  4. This will take you to /wp-admin/theme-install.php?browse=popular page
  5. Observe the "Search box"
  6. 🐞 You will notice the visual bug for search where it is slightly misaligned.
