Description

Hello Team,

I have reviewed the "Pullquote" block and I found the padding issue. The text is overlapping.

Environment info:

  • WordPress version: WordPress 6.5 running,
  • Theme: Twenty Twenty-Four Version: 1.1
  • Browser: Google Chrome, Version 123.0.6312.106 (Official Build) (arm64)
  • Device: MacBook Air M1
  • OS: macOS 14.4.1 (23E224)
  • Gutenberg plugin: Version 18.0.0

I have attached back-end & front-end screenshots for reference.

Thanks,

Hi @viralsampat I did not understand what text is overlapping what part of the block? I don't see any text overlapping in the screenshots.

If a user wants to adjust the padding, they can do that in the block settings, in the Dimensions panel.

I agree with you @poena so going to close this for now. Thank you everyone.

I think "overlapping" refers to how text can touch an added border/edge, especially when italicized. However, if you add a border to the left and right sides (and/or a different background color), you will need to add some padding to those sides too.
