Description

Hi,

I love the WordPress 5.0 new editor implementation totally amazing and it's very fast to Gutenberg, I know it's Gutenberg but after the direct implementation it's working more better.

Here is nothing bug but I want more improvement when we are uploading the big image directly through here look at snap: https://imgur.com/a/H6YYm4h it doesn't showing any loading bar like: line, circle so we're confusing, what it is uploading image or not (it's working but doesn't showing status of upload) and when we are uploading through media library that's working pretty good and showing everything properly.

However, I'm writing it because we can improve it more. that's not any bug just missing a feature.

Thank You!

I love WordPress and 5.0 Is Superb.

Regards
Chirag Artani

Hi @trafficsolderblog, thanks for reporting this. Apologies there wasn't a response.

When I tested the image block had a loading spinner during upload, but the cover block didn't.

Issues for the block editor are being handled on the github repo where development takes place. It looks like this issue has been created for the problem with the cover block:
https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/23206

I'll close this trac ticket, given there's a github issue for this.
