Chucky Actually is the eighth and final episode in the second season of Chucky.

Synopsis[]

Back in Hackensack for the holidays, the 3 Amigos receive a special gift; Tiffany plots her escape.

Plot[]

At Incarnate Lord, Chucky switches souls with Dr. Mixter, revealing that it was Dr. Mixter whom Andy shot at the end of the previous episode, instead of Chucky. Life flashes before Dr. Mixter's eyes as she relives several therapy sessions with Charles Lee Ray throughout their lives, culminating in an off-screen moment of Season 1, where she plots with Chucky to convince one of the trio or Junior to kill. Back in Dr. Mixter's Hackensack office, Chucky arrives and removes an original Good Guy doll from a safe behind a painting and transfers his soul into the doll, ending Mixter's mortal form.

At an Addicts Anonymous meeting, Lexy shares that her mother is the reason she suffers from substance use and other mental health issues. She drives Jake, who attended the meeting with her for moral support, back to her house where she surprises Jake and Devon with one-another as Christmas gifts, much to the chagrin of her mother, Michelle. When Devon hands him a small gift, Jake rushes out of the house to get something for Devon, even though the latter says that it's not necessary. On the couch, Caroline sits with the Wedding Belle doll and learns of the passing of Dr. Mixter via the news.

In the hospital, Glenda visits with Glen, still in a coma after their injuries defending their mother. Glenda calls Tiffany and tells her that it's time to go back into the doll, since if Glen dies, they will die too. Tiffany prepares a disguise, and when Glenda intentionally spills coffee over the guard to Glen's room, and sends him off with money to get another one, Tiffany is able to sneak in. As they are about to commence with the soul transfer, the security guard enters the room. He tries to draw his gun but Tiffany smashes his head with a vase, knocking him unconscious. The hospital receptionist responds to the commotion, but Glenda is able to deflect her. Then, Glenda electrocutes the guard with a defibrillator. Tiffany leaves with the doll, now going by the name "GG". Later, she gives GG a makeover and promises to drive them to the Post Office and ship them to England so they can explore, as per GG's wish. Meanwhile, Chucky purchases a chainsaw marketed as "The World's Quietest".

Outside her home, Michelle Cross streams her nativity scene to her followers, using the Wedding Belle doll in place of Jesus. Jake arrives back home with a large box and hands it to Devon. It's a large podcasting setup. Devon half-heartedly thanks Jake, but admits he hasn't really enjoyed podcasting in over a year. At Christmas dinner, Jake snipes at Devon for not appreciating his gift, and Devon responds that had Jake actually been an attentive partner, he wouldn't have made that mistake. Michelle tries to table the discussion, but Lexy praises them for their honesty. Lexy then tries to apologize to her mother, admitting that they may be more similar than either of them care to admit. Michelle offers her version of an apology which puts more emphasis and blame on Lexy's mistakes, but she does admit some degree of fault. At bedtime, Lexy wonders aloud to Jake and Devon if they're destined to become as obsessive as Andy and Kyle. Devon and Jake don't think so; they killed Chucky so everything is good, and Jake and Devon begin the steps toward making up.

Downstairs, Chucky enters the home through the chimney and lands in the fireplace while Tiffany breaks in through an unlocked side door. Tiffany is too loud, and Michelle comes downstairs. Michelle freaks out and is excited that Jennifer Tilly has shown up into her home. Tiffany apologizes for barging in, and asks for the Wedding Belle doll, when she notices Chucky behind the ex-mayor. Chucky revs the chainsaw and leaps above Michelle, driving the chainsaw through the top of her head, completely bisecting her longitudinally. Chucky's laughs maniacally and promises to kill Glen, Glenda, and the three amigos. Tiffany vows that for any of them to come to harm, he'll have to kill her first. The argument alerts Lexy, who comes downstairs, knocks Chucky to the ground, holds him in place with her foot, and screams as she slices Chucky's face multiple times with his chainsaw. Tiffany flees upstairs to search for the Belle doll and finds it alone abed in an open room, but as she lifts it up, she is stabbed twice by Jake and Devon, who were hiding under the covers. Lexy heads upstairs. Tiffany stumbles into the hallway, where she is greeted by Caroline. Caroline hands her a knife and tells Jake and Devon not to call the police. She accuses Lexy of not being her real sister, Chucky having told her she's adopted and that one day, her real mother, Tiffany, would come for her. Lexy begs Caroline to stay as Tiffany and Caroline leave. That morning, the kids tell the cops that Jennifer Tilly broke into their house, killed Michelle, and kidnapped Caroline. They fall under the guardianship of Rachel Fairchild. The kids tell her that it the real culprit was Chucky, and not Tiffany. She responds, "I knew it".

In a hotel in Times Square, while Tiffany completes a disguise to shed the appearance of Jennifer Tilly, she gets a call from Nica Pierce. Nica apologizes for what she did to Glen, but asserts that changes nothing between them as individuals, and vows to hunt and torture and kill her, and that she can see her from her current position. Alarmed, Tiffany immediately tries to put her soul into the Belle doll, but the spell doesn't work. The Belle doll is revealed to have been Chucky all along as he sheds his makeup and wig, which fall to the floor. He grabs a knife and stalks toward Tiffany as she screams.
