Smooth & efficient!

I used Sherpr to move 5 large boxes of my belongings from London to New York. After searching and speaking to many relocation companies, Sherpr not only had the cheapest quote but one of the fastest shipping times. Duncan King was extremely responsive and helpful with my questions and in walking me through the process. The FedEx delivery staff were also very friendly and quick.

The boxes ended up arriving in just 3 working days after pickup, and in good condition. Overall process was super fast & easy - I've moved countries a few times with different shipping companies and I've had the best experience with Sherpr so far.

Marie was extremely helpful and was in contact with all authorities and customs to make sure my boxes would be delivered smoothly.

Duncan (relocation expert) was extremely efficient and promt in generation quotes and all adjustments.

Great service for moving

I used Sherpr to sent a 30kg package from Italy to UK. They assisted me with the customs documentation and I had no problems with border controls. The box arrived in only 3 working days. I am satisfied with the service and will also recommend it to my friends for international shipments.

Impeccable Service

I am very impressed with SHERPR service - Apparently one of the bags I used for my parcel wasn't very sturdy when the delivery collected it from my house. Upon arrival of the parcel to it's destination, I realised it was repackaged in a box and sealed properly. I was very impressed. Apart from that, the service is top notch and turn around time is accurate. Keep up the good work guys and thank you!

Ineffective and poor communication

My shipment of 7 boxes and 2 luggage were picked up on 26 Jun and delivered only yesterday on 24 Jul. Exactly 4 weeks!

This company is ineffective and its communication leaves a lot to be desired!! The glaring disappointments are,
1. Being sent a link to make custom fee payment for a shipment that wasn't mine. And then being informed that the same shipment has arrived and been signed for. After several emails and chats that went nowhere, I realized from looking at the FedEx tracking number that they have linked my booking reference with the wrong tracking number! From that point on, I relied only on the FedEx tracking website for updates. And l saw that the delivery of my shipment has been rescheduled, which brings me to point 2.
2. Updates about the the delay weren't proactive at all. What's worse is, they couldn't tell me what was causing the delay. In the end, l decided to visit, in person, the FedEx location where my shipment was withheld, who advised that I write to the local FedEx customs/clearance team.
3. Emailing directly with FedEx customs/clearance team produced initial result. They responded by asking for the same document (inventory list) that I had already provided Sherpr. They also asked for proof of residency. After submitting these documents, I heard nothing again. Sherpr weren't able to elicit a response from them either.
4. More days later, with the help of a Dutch speaking friend, we called the Dutch FedEx client service. We were then advised to take a different approach. So l emailed the FedEx customs/clearance team accordingly. The next day, I saw from the FedEx tracking website that my shipment has been cleared and will be delivered. In essence, Sherpr hadn't been effective in problem resolution.

I wouldn't recommend using Sherpr (or Luggage Buddy, it is the same company) . Unless you are certain there won't be any issues with customs!

Sherpr.com - Do not use



Sherpr.com - Do not use this site if you require your suitcase to arrive on time
We recently used Sherpr to send a suitcase to Northern Spain for a holiday and then to return the suitcase to the UK after our stay. We were on a motorcycle holiday and needed clean clothes after we had travelled from the UK to Spain. We arranged for the suitcase to be collected on 21st June, which it was. It should have been delivered to our hotel in Spain by 26th June. We arrived at our hotel in Spain on 27th June to find that the suitcase had not arrived. We contacted Sherpr and they informed us that the suitcase was in customs and that it would be delivered within 2-4 days. The suitcase contained only clothes. They also informed us that the delivery date they had provided us with was an estimated delivery date and that they could not guarantee delivery. Not really in line with the promotional blurb on their website. I chased delivery with Sherpr every day during our 4 night stay in Spain but the suitcase never arrived before we had to leave. We took the decision to pay for our dirty clothes to be laundered by the hotel, which cost us 169 Euros. I asked Sherpr to send the suitcase back to the UK, which they did. The suitcase arrived back at our home address before we did on 5th July. So they could not get our suitcase to our hotel Spain within 10 days, but managed to get it back to the UK within 4 days. I had an apology from Sherpr and a full refund. My recommendation is not to use this company as they just did not deliver for

We only advertise the estimated transit times and we do not include the time it takes when any shipment reaches customs clearance as this is processed by the country's local customs agency and not by Sherpr or the courier.

Awesome for relocation

Thank you Sherpr!
Relocating is incredibly stressful and having to organise moving stuff just adds to that stress but Sherpr looked after me the whole way getting my belongings from Canada to the UK. The customer team kept me informed the whole journey and explained everything to me. Price was awesome too!

Absolutely brilliant service

Absolutely brilliant service! I use Sherpr when I’m visiting family so I don’t have to struggle with children as well as luggage on the train. My luggage is always there before me!

Didn’t deliver!

I would like to give Shepr less than one star. They are a company that delivers bags from A to B. They lost my bag within days and then told me after 6 days that they were no longer looking for it. DO NOT USE SHERPR UNLESS YOU ARE SENDING LESS THAN £100 WORTH OF STUFF AND YOU WANT TO LOSE IT

Final Update on Sherpr Issues

After two weeks of additional stress and delays I was finally able to get my boxes delivered with ZERO support from Sherpr, who abandoned me after selecting FedEx to handle my shipment. I had to use a customs broker to complete the process given Sherpr's lack of support for a vendor THEY had chosen (FedEx) Out of pocket an additional $850 dollars due to their errors and incompetence.
Never received an apology and certainly no offer to reimburse me for there mistakes.

In your case, you were presented with FedEx prior to you confirming your booking, which is a well respected and reputable International shipping company.

Sherpr also helps customers ship thousands of items across the globe each year and provide educated customs support in an ever changing world, including to Australia. We also make it clear before and after booking, that customers are responsible for any customs charges, duties and taxes.

I've been through all communication between Sherpr and yourself and can see my team provided levels of support, including many conversations with customs when your specific shipment was held for clearance.

We strive to provide the best service to each customer and are very happy to hear your shipment has been delivered.

Highly recommend, fast and cost efficient

I had doubts about shipping my stuff abroad as I’ve heard many horror stories, not to mention the high cost associated. I was initially looking to just throw away all my stuff so I can carry one luggage with me when Duncan from Shepr called me. Not only was their prices ultra competitive, they are also air flown as opposed to cargo shipping. All in all the process was super smooth, their customer service team is top notch and my items arrived earlier than estimated - 10 days in total!

Great customer services

Great customer service via email with Marie she was so helpful as I am a little older and the online forms etc are stressful but got there in the end .
FedEx collection guy was great and helpful also
