Eset was recommended to me by a…Computer repair shop.

Eset was recommended to me by a computer shop that did a deep scan of my 2 computers. When cleaned of one deep root issue on my desk-top computer, it was they that recommended Eset. At one time, it caught a virus before I even opened up the website. That's the kind of protection one wants today with all the scams that are out there. My only issue is that now with my emails, they just don't open right away. I have to close mail and then reopen. It's probably something I didn't set up so no big deal. Eventually, I will find the proper setup. I like that I can see ongoing updates of my virus protection at one corner of the screen. It lets me know that the virus updates are an ongoing thing. That inspires trust. After two years, I just automatically renew for another two years.

I have been using ESEt Canada for a…

I have been using ESEt Canada for a number of years.
Renewing my protection was very easy to do online and I was able to read about other plans with ESET.
I made my choice and was able to have it on my computer in a very short time

I have been using this software for… seven years

I have been using this software for seven years and haven’t had any issues. I have confidence in the protection it gives when I’m on the internet, specifically banking; and there ability to keep bad actors out of my computer.

So far, far better overall than Norton!

To be fair I have only had their product for just over 1 month.
For years I previously had Norton but it both too much slowed down my devices and was far too costly!
...due to Norton exacting revenge on my refusal to again renew them instead of simply discontinuing they also removed anti corruption protections, so ESET was kind enough to quickly solve the problem when I informed them.

10+ Years of hassle-free internet and computer security

ESET is secure, easy to use, and easy to renew. I don't worry about using my computer for business and personal use, and for banking. It is so easy with ESET, and if I ever have an issue ESET and the staff are there to help me. I have used ESET well over 10 years and I am grateful that I have never had one problem because ESET is taking care of my computer security.

ESET was fairly easy to renew and I…

ESET was fairly easy to renew and I increased my coverage. However, I received an email post renewal asking if I wanted to increase coverage as it was paid for, which I found confusing. I thought I had ordered this increase, and paid for it. Just a thought to have customers review wording to ensure it makes sense to them.

Trusted Coverage!

I appreciate that I am covered and I trust that to be the case however I do not like it when it interferes with banking. It complicates the process and I am not savvy enough to navigate it.

EVERYTHING WENT WRONG

What went wrong? Everything. I dutifully renewed my licence, paid for it, got the receitp, but when I opened my computer(s) next morning, I got warnings left-right-and centre, that ESET is NOT active, and I have too many devices (???) and unless I buy a new subscription, I lose my protection completely. Then warnings came to 'activate' (???) but when I tried that, your server wouldn't accept my existing key, nor my EAV. Subsequently, I tried to contact your online help and got absolutely no response, except a couple of days later an email came, advising me, that 'apparently the problem must have been resolved' and the case was closed. THERE WAS ZERO RESPONSE TO MY REQUEST FOR HELP. PERIOD.
So here I am with a useless piece of youknowwhat. I want my renewal fee refunded and after more, than a decade WITH ESET I will go elsewhere.

I am very happy with this product

I am very happy with this product, it cooks quietly in the background and does its job of protecting my system. No problems for the last ten plus years. Good price, great value, minimal input required from me. Thank you ESET
