Not recommended. Two "oops, sorry!" for each "yay, all ok" every month.

Unfortunately LANDR distribution gives us a brand new bug every month. There is always a delay, a wrong profile upload, any sort of "oh oh" you can imagine you will get. Also, they promise a 24h reply to the plan I subscribed for and it almost NEVER happens, meaning they keep a very negative tradition to sell and promise what they are unable to do (exploring the excuse that "sorry, we are overloaded of support tickets". Since forever.).

The only PRO is that after much struggle and pressure on one of the worst support and platforms I've ever experienced, my uploads are online and working, but only after a not even close to be smooth and great experience.

I have found LANDR to be a good…

I have found LANDR to be a good experience in handling my releases. The mastering system works real well and produces great masters.
The new app is easy to use and provides all the information and interaction as far as my current masters, for comparison, and the catalogue of released work.
In all a great company.

Not recommended for distribution

They say my original piano music is "generic instrumentals without distinctive features". They obviously say this because there's only one instrument, and for them, that's enough of an excuse to throw it in that category (although a lot of people every day are downloading my piano sheet music!). The worst part is, some releases make it through and others don't, with no criteria whatsoever (I re-released some previously rejected songs on an 11-song album, and all of them got through, so what's the criteria then?).

For anyone wondering, no, I do not make noise tracks, or rely heavily on chords, my style is neoclassical music (think like Yiruma or Ludovico Einaudi), so what they tell me is ridiculous.

Do you know how offensive it is that original music you composed and recorded is dubbed "generic instrumentals without distinctive features"? Does LANDR actually get a human to listen to it?

I will delete this review if you fix this problem, of course, but I feel pretty insulted at this point, really insulted.

I am new in music and in this industry…

I am new in music and in this industry . So i know nothing from the start .
Your so easy application, tutorials, customer service, reactivity make the whole thing very attractive and we can stay focus about Music as you manage everything till distribution.
i dont have feedback because i dont know other plateform as you re the first and i dont have reason to find new one.

I tried cancelling my membership and it…

I tried cancelling my membership and it all seemed to go well, until the next month I was charged again. I immediately contacted Landr within 10 minutes of being charged and told them about my problem, and was told

"Refunds unfortunately cannot be processed for monthly subscriptions once they have been charged."

What kind of customer service is that? I won't be recommending Landr to anyone.

Landr great tool for Artists

Landr offers several services which makes it a valuable platform for artists, from samples to courses, from mastering to distribution.
It is also easy to use which makes it efficient and enjoyable to use.

Great customer service. Wish the mastering had a few more things that I could tell the difference in different choices. The names I have typed before can be annoying since I had trouble with them populating on releases.

There was a "glitch" with a song I was…

There was a "glitch" with a song I was releasing.

This should not happen anyway- or else I would have had no reason for this experience in the first place:-) And- I suppose I would have indicated 5 stars...but would not have had to- if you see what I mean:-)

Anyway- I waited a few weeks - I think 3 in total- then asked what was the hold-up, and could I do anything to help -

I replied to the automated email (It says to do that...) and whoever picked-up this case fixed the issue within a couple of hours- and my release showed-up on platforms the next day (today).

So, I was good with everything- I did not have any "release" event or anything planned for this:-)

LANDR is RUINING release dates

Not sure what has happened over the past year, but the distribution service has gotten incredibly slow. From the time I get a release approved and cleared to the time it actually gets sent to stores is often more than a week. I sent in a release and got it approved THREE WEEKS before a release date which I specified, giving them ample time to send it to stores, only to find out they sent it the DAY BEFORE the release, leaving stores like Spotify not enough time to process it in time. There’s simply no excuses for this. I think I will be switching to DistroKid.

LANDR Distribution Pro is totally worth it!

I subscribed to the LANDR Distribution Pro yearly package and was totally satisfied with the service in general. Easy payment method, easy-to-use platform, auto verified and easy to access Spotify for artist page, easy form completion for every release, also a clear explanation from the support team.

The only thing that can be improved is the TRENDS menu. I think it will be more fun if the statistics are real-time.

Maybe you can add other DSP's how-to-access pages or instructions so we can claim the artist page outside Spotify.
