I use a lot of multiple identities and edit them quite often. Intuitively, I double-click the list to edit a specific identity. That doesn't work, though: you have to select it and then click the Edit... button. I want it to edit on double-click. Patch coming up.

This doesn't work for Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1b2) Gecko/20060831 Thunderbird/2.0a1 Mnenhy/0.7.4.0 ID:2007010904

Watching the source you can see it's only fixed for trunk. Its a simple patch so asking for Thunderbird 2.
