Mozperftest uses hooks to customize how a test is run. For instance, we use it for multi-commit support as well as recording in the future. However, there is currently no way of testing these which leaves a very large hole in mozperftest for issues to pile up in and this is problematic given that we are aiming to have a test harness that is very well tested. We should build a way to test these and ensure that our existing hooks are being tested properly.
