This bug has been around for a very long time, so long that one might think it's still there as a feature, it's provably one of the most famous issues in Minecraft.

The issue can be reproduced the following way:

1.Give yourself various stacks of enderpearls.
2.Stand under a preferibly thin cieling made of blocks.
3.Spam at least 3 enderpearls under the cieling.

Result: You will get teleported on top of the cieling.
