I found myself downloading any and every mod i could get my hands on when i first discovered Minecraft.
All of the different themes and items that were in these projects were so amazing, i wondered if i had the time and skill to accomplish work like this. But what would i make or add to the game? Would others like it? After tinkering and squeezing every ounce of fun out of the mods that appealed to me, I found myself keeping the ones that felt like they were apart of the theme of Minecraft. Yea its fun for a few hours to play with the wacky stuff and new mechanics that some mods introduce to the game. But after a while, when the shininess of that new toy wears off, you are stuck with just another re-skinned mob/weapon/ore or something that just does not fit. The mods i ended up keeping and updating had a certain synergy and feel to them that suggested they could be included in 'vanilla' Minecraft, and not a separate mod. So this is my goal in the projects i release. To be something that does not feel out of place in the Minecraft world. A mod not too garish, but still having the appeal and mechanics that makes you want to keep it as something that should be included into your world.
I am a first time modder and i still have quite a bit to learn. This is what i have to offer to the community.
Please read the README for a more detailed description and info on all of the mobs

He is still finalizing the download and will probably be up soon. So every one please relax. People rarely make their best work under pressure.
If you have never made you should not be complaining. So stop whining this is lost's first mod so cut him some slack ok.

Not to crash that happy parade...but it's not a released mod. And it's not difficult to wait to make a released mod post in the released mod section once you have the actual download link.
Until then, there is a section for incomplete mods. I don't see why it physically needs to be here until then. And if putting it in the WIP section was too difficult, it wouldn't be hard to just wait until the mod was uploaded to some file center first.
tl;dr: Why do you need to defend it >_> Dude didn't have to put it up without being ready to put it up.

Don't get me wrong about the whole uploading thing because I know since I am also a modder and it's his first mod so he has the right to be nervous. He did better than my first mod.
I'm all for this concept! The waters are rather open and empty in vanilla Minecraft, with only Squid as a creature to find while exploring down there. Mo' Creatures helps alleviate this with sharks, dolphins, and DrZhark's own fish, and it looks like this mod's going to take that to the next step by adding even more fish to the deep!
I have yet to install this mod [although I did download it!], but you have my full support!

I'm a pixel artist who makes pixel things and maps! I also do line art occasionally.
I have two work in progress resource packs!
This is the second one!
And of course, by "work-in-progress" I mean "will never, ever be completed".
If you can make it so you can fish these fish, I will be a happy sheep!
Still, great work as your first mod!

think of this as a supplement to mo' creatures
Like vitamins
Good luck i think you can become an amazing modder.
