Since the spawn chunks are almost always loaded, anything there counts against the server, though won't be too much an issue unless the number of entities goes overboard.

So the size of the build in the spawn would not matter as long as the entity count was kept as low as possible?

posted a message on Spawn Chunks and Low Framerate/Server Lag
    Hello,

I was wondering, will having an Iron Golem Farm (probably an Iron Titan) in the Spawn Chunks cause lower FPS or increased Lag on mine (and friends) computers if we build it in our Realms Spawn chunks?

    Thanks,

And you can keep the droppers supplied with items by using chickens on hoppers to feed eggs into the droppers. For a 20-minute timer, one chicken per dropper should be plenty.

I am doing this on a server and it has an entity per chunk limit so having extra chickens for the droppers would minimise the amounts in my farm. I can definitely supply them with plenty of scrap items however I think I will just end up using a hopper timer now if need be

The setup you want will be much bigger and complex. And with other downsides: daylight sensor signal becomes weaker during rain. And you won't be able to sleep.

A hopper clock has only 12 blocks volume.

I was hoping to avoid a hopper clock as any clock on my computer causes lag. But I forgot about those problems with the daylight sensor, thanks.

    Hello

I need help with a circuit regarding daylight sensors and signal strength. What I would like to do is to have a daylight sensor (or two for both inversion maybe) in a circuit so that when the circuit receives an "Input Pulse" it will save the current time in the form of "Signal Strength" and then when the time comes around again and the Daylight sensor would send the same "Output Signal Strength" I want the circuit as a whole to send a pulse.

Basically I want the circuit to have a roughly 20min delay from input to output without using common Hopper transfer clocks like Ethos etc

    Thanks,

Just use pistons and stop trying to tile it so perfectly. Piston signal inverters never burn out or fail

Redstone torches just aren't reliable/fast enough for item sorting and 95% of designs out there eventually break because of it

Well it ended up working just fine :P

posted a message on Location Breaks DPE
I have made a DPE which is 4x3x4 in dimensions. I built it at the Coordinates (x, -1602) - (y, 53) - (z, -94) at the bottom left corner going 3 blocks to the right and forwards (north and east respectively).

It works fine at this location. Then standing on the bottom left corner I move North (forward) 8 blocks and build it again. Here it does not work. So I move a North 8 blocks forward and it does work. I then move 8 blocks East and build it, it does not work. Then a further 8 blocks east and it does work.

I seem to be getting a grid like a chess board. Every white square works and black square doesn't.

Can anyone please explain why/how this occurs and how to fix it if possible?

    Thanks,
    Hello2215

Edit: After my first movement North. The first one to not work. I then moved East and it also did not work. So this removes the chess board effect

MC:PE bug reporting has been *suspended* on the Mojira, please report bugs related to MC:PE via Google+, Reddit, or the Minecraft Forums.

    Well in that case

    Bug 1. - tested on 0.9.5

Issue: Some times when creating a new world you spawn in the sky and then fall. Dying if in survival.
Recreation: Create a new map, quit app during map generation, open app, open world

    Bug 2. - tested on 0.9.4

Issue: Invisible barriers on an infinite multiplayer world if on device that doesn't support infinite worlds
Recreation: Using an older generation device connect to a multiplayer world and try move around. You do not get very far
    Bug 3. - tested on 0.9.5

Issue: Trees (seen birch and oak) have a chance of spawning sideways. Logs go horizontal with no leaves. The base block will be normal then with a one block gap will be the remainder horizontally
Recreation: Make a new map on old generation device at the old map type and search around

    Bug 4. - tested on 0.9.4

Issue: If creating a map on the old map size, no caves, villages or strongholds spawn.
Recreation: On a device which does not support infinite worlds, create an advanced map on the "old" map size

    Bug 5. - tested on 0.9.5

Issue: On some devices when playing multiplayer, mobs can be invisible. This happened whilst an iPad 2 iOS 7 hosted an infinite world with an iPod 3rd gen on iOS 5 and the third device which could not see them is an iPod 4th gen (either iOS 6 or 7 unsure)

It's probably not there yet because they know there are plenty of bugs which they know to fix. :)

Kinda silly though if you find a bug which is not in the already posted list because then they may not know that bug exists

I am trying to post a report in the bug tracker but it does not let me select Minecraft PE - only Minecraft, Minecraft API, Launcher and Scrolls. Where is the PE version?

    Thanks,

posted a message on [Feedback] Few Pointers
    Hey,

I can not seem to see an option when creating a topic or replying that allows you to edit the spacing between lines. When you press enter you are automatically given what seems about a 1cm gap between the last line. This is rather impractical if I am signing the end of a topic with my name. For example:

    Thanks

    Hello2215

When posting something like this you want your name to be directly after. The same as if it was a new line in a paragraph. It seems that in spoilers though that this spacing issue does not occur. (Edit this can be achieved by shift-click + return - still think it should be default small spacing though).

Also, might be contradictory to the idea of having a new forum but I prefer the old style rather than the new one. I know that people will probably like the new version but for the people that don't maybe have an option to toggle between styles.

    as opposed to

Another point is that is makes more sense that the button "Insert/Edit Image" is next to/near the "Insert Texture Pack" as this is where you would assume that inserting an object would be, along with the other insert features.

Is it just me or is there no way to give a title to a spoiler now?

And another question, what is the green dot on my profile picture?

Finally, is there an option when creating/editing a topic to "Toggle Editing Mode" like in the old layout? I would use this occasionally and I am sure others would also refer to it.

    Thanks

Just curious if our topics we post in the old forum will automatically appear in the beta version or do we need to repost our topics?
