Are you looking for a simple and boxy/blocky resource pack that looks like this: ?
Then this is not your pack. You can click the ‘Back’ button of your browser and try to find another pack. But if you’re looking for an alternative for those packs, and you think that simple doesn’t mean bucket fill, that simple packs can be done right, you should stay here, have a look at the screenshots and click the ad-free download link.
This pack was born from the idea of another great 16x texture pack, SineCraft. That simple pack used a pattern of squares and four different colors to make textures for all the blocks. But most of the blocks didn’t have borders, so, as you can see in the image above, blocks are connected, creating a huge mosaic, and not separated boxes or blocks.
I liked that idea; it was original. But I didn’t like the feeling and the atmosphere of the pack. The colors were rather dull and had very low saturation. So I decided to start changing those aspects of the pack I didn’t like. I like colorful Minecraft, so I saturated all the colors. I changed or improved lots of textures taking ideas, concepts or colors from other packs or from my own mind, and finally changed the pattern, keeping the 16x resolution.
Décor 2 is the next step: the pattern has shading and much more detail now, and there are 11 colors in most textures. Not bad for a simplistic pack. I’ve also revised all the textures and added or changed things here and there.
My favorite items are vanilla ones, but they’re too low-res. So I decided to add Faithful 32x items, but I’ve been heavily editing them with the time, making them a great alternative to vanilla items without losing Minecraft style.
Mobs are Tronic ones, some have been edited, but they’re pretty much the same ones.
So this pack is 16x blocks, 32x items and 64x mobs. I think those are the best resolutions for Minecraft. There are also tons of MC Patcher features, including CTM, Custom Sky and Custom Colors.
I’ve already been some years working hard on this pack for the best Minecraft experience.
I hope you like it!
Features
Lots of MC Patcher/OptiFine textures, such as: custom colormaps, custom sky, custom lightmaps, CTM, random mobs, color.properties (lots of custom colors!), CIT...
Some animated textures.
The Nether has a red lightmap.
The End has an outer space look.
Changes between biome colors are more drastic.
A simple yet detailed resource pack.
A more colorful Minecraft!

Download Décor 2 from the link below.
Place Décor 2 blablabla.zip in the resourcepack folder in .minecraft. You can find it by pressing the ‘Open resource pack folder’ inside the game.
Make sure Minecraft is closed.

You are free to make any video showcase or to use this pack in your videos, as long as you provide a link to this thread.
I’m constantly improving this pack: my aim is to offer to the best Minecraft experience.
I try to update Décor 2 for snapshots. However, I don’t always have time for that.
My custom sky does have clouds, so you can disable vanilla ones if you want.
Some blocks have borders. However, most of the blocks are border-free. The only blocks that have borders are crystal-like blocks, like diamond, glowstone or gold blocks.
The block above was made by me (?).
Yes, if you name an Iron Sword 'Pan', it will become a pan (?).
If you name a Diamond Sword 'Excalibur', it will have a different texture.

Mmmm... Yeah, my mobs are blocky. I thought they had to be blocky, but you've given me an idea. The creeper is the only mob which isn't blocky, so I'm gonna use that pattern for all the mobs to 'unblock' them.
Amazing work you've done there. It seems somewhat bright to me but then again I've been using Isabella for ages now and that certainly has a darker and gloomy feel so I may just not be used to having color again. Sinecraft was the first texture pack that i used for a lengthy time which i liked for its unique style.
It does however feel like some textures don't quite fit with others, such as the smoother textures of smooth sandstone and stone bricks (maybe some small amount of texture like the hardened clay blocks have could help). Mobs kinda feel odd as well but you've had the idea of the creeper pattern which does seem to fit (it also seems odd that sheep are smooth where the wool blocks from them have a pattern). Last criticism i could find is that while the items do look nice at the higher res, they feel very vanilla compared to the unique textures you have for the blocks (probably similar to mobs feeling out of place save for the creeper).
Again, amazing work. Definitely looking forward to using this pack.
Edit: Noticed something else, and maybe its just that I am used to it but still water and lava have no animation to them which is something unusual. On the note of liquids, i think the timing/animation may be off for flowing lava. When the timing loops, the animation shudders so its not smooth for a moment.
This is awesome!!!! This is the best simple pack i have ever seen! I like how your mobs are blocky. Also, your mobs have a 3d look. Also please remove Not Blocky because it's blocky and that's the way i like it
I like it for the most part, although I feel that your cobblestone is a bit too high-contrast for the rest of the pack. Your crops could also use a little more detail.
Besides that, though, this is actually really decent for a simple, pattern-style pack. Bravo!
By definition, this is still "blocky", but fortunately not in the same way as most simple packs.
I like the ideas you have for the textures, the mobs look nice, and I like your colour maps for the Nether and End realms, but some of the textures, I feel lack shading. The cobblestone has a nice looking pattern, but I think the squares could be improved with some shading over them, giving them some form without adding too much to take away from the pack's intent.
Looks nice so far! I like to see simple packs that aren't outline packs or bucket fills. It gives me hope that good still exists.

I like the fact that it's not a solid filling on the blocks, and that color hues exist within individual blocks. Also in one image you have a ladder leading to a liquid. Do you have a custom height map that changes the color on depth and height? Looks like a sewer, but more important, it looks great!
Oh, I like this. It's not just bucket-filling blocks. I particularly love that color for your sand, and your mobs are great!
Though I feel like the nether is a bit too red.
This looks a lot like sinecraft, which I enjoyed very much. I'll be sure to download. Also, in my opinion, the nether is a bit too red based on the screenshots there. Otherwise, looks great!
you sir are a boss. though their are a few problems. te first being the giant jungle tree i built looks like crap cause the orange stuff is all you notice from a distance in the leaves. if its ok with you ill try to do a showcase for this on my youtube channel ant1nam3

Though I feel like the nether is a bit too red.
The water is green because of the jungle biome in the surface. But the sewer look looks nice
Cobblestone and crops:
They'll get fixed very soon (maybe today).
Mobs:
Soon.
But, why do you say this pack is blocky? Only mobs are blocky, not the whole pack.
