Grind Waves of Slime Enemies

One of the best and fastest ways to get lots of MSP is to defeat Slimes. The Slime enemies appear during the “Slimepede” quest at Almerain Island, which is quick and easy to complete. Here, you face waves of Slmes that drop lots of MSP points, and you can run the quest as many times as you want.

However, I didn’t start this quest until I reached at least Level 70. The only similar quest you can start earlier, at about Level 50, is “Seeds of Trouble” at Seedhollow Castle. But there are a bit too many Slimes attacking at once for my taste. Regardless of the chosen quest, I recommend using the following elements against different types of Slime enemies in GBF Relink:

  • Use Earth elemental weapons against common Slimes.
  • Silverslimes are mostly weak to Light elemental attacks.
  • Goldsmiles can be farmed with Dark weapons.

If you get tired of grinding Slimes, switch to a more exciting method of MSP farming. It involves completing survival quests that begin at Level 100+. Note that these quests are really hard, but they offer a significant amount of mastery points and other rewards in the late game.

Complete High-Level Quests

There’s only one way to unlock Extreme Difficulty quests in GBF Relink, and here’s how I suggest doing it:

  1. Complete the Final Chapter of the main story.
  2. Speak to Id and the Caring Man in that order.
  3. Go back to Folca Town to start another conversation with the Caring Man.
  4. Start the “Skybound Hearts” quest.

Once you reach Veteran Skyfarer rank by completing various endgame quests, this will unlock the high-level quests that I’ve been talking about. Here, you can pick up all sorts of quests to farm MSP and unlock high-tier Mastery Nodes. Let’s take a look at some of the best ones:

  • Assault Formation” is probably the best high-level quest to farm MSP. While ambushing the Aviaeth Battleship, I can easily grind dozens of high-level foes, such as:
    • Aviaeth Saber (weak to Fire).
    • Aviaeth Lancer (weak to Dark).
    • Aviaeth Archer (weak to Earth).
    • Aviaeth Dreadnaught (weak to Water).
    • Droita Balsam (weak to Light).
  • Hallowed Be Thy Ground” quest at Mt. Neigelith provides a similar opportunity. But this time, instead of killing enemies, all I need is to simply survive for as long as possible. All the enemies that spawn during this quest are mostly weak to Light and Earth elemental attacks.
  • If you find the first two quests that I mentioned above a bit too hard, then I recommend doing the “Dark Refrain” quest at Pillar of Vayoi, which is a bit easier. Here, you still need to defeat as many enemies as possible, but there are only two types this time: Dark Gyre and Ominous Form. Both are vulnerable to Light attacks.
