How to Solve the Planet Room Puzzle in #Blud

Learn where to find the planets and how to solve the planet room puzzle in #Blud.

The planet room is one of the very few straightforward puzzles in #Blud. Unlike the rest of the genre, this action-adventure title doesn’t really do puzzles. And when it does, they’re rarely so game-y. The Planet Room puzzle stands in stark comparison, looking like it came out of a Resident Evil game. Here’s how to solve #Blud’s Planet Room puzzle.

#Blud Planet Room Puzzle Guide: Collecting the Planets

In isolation, this puzzle doesn’t seem complicated at all. What makes it tricky is that it’s made of multiple stages, and #Blud never identifies it as part of a mission. This last part is certain to confuse players since all of the other puzzles in the game are comparatively well-explained.

Solving this puzzle requires two things: finding the planets and knowing their order in the solar system. If the second part has you sweating, don’t worry. We’re not there yet.

You need to find three planets: Jupiter, Uranus, and Earth. You’ll find those in the following rooms. You can also locate them by using the map above.

  • One is in the Planetarium, the room the puzzle takes place in
  • Another one is in the Math class, below the Planet room
  • The last planet is in the Laboratory, right next to the previous room

If you can’t find your way into some of those rooms, look for cracked walls. One of those will be behind a cart holding some AV equipment, old TV sets and the like. Move it out of the way before destroying the wall with a cherry bomb, gaining access to this last room.

Putting the Planets in Order

Can you remember the order of the planets in the solar system from the closest to the most distant? If so, good for you. If not, it’s my duty to remind you that the internet holds much of the knowledge ever accrued by humans. This includes the order of the planets.

If you don’t want to cheat by googling “solar system picture,” why? You’re already using a guide. But if you weren’t, I would suggest looking for an in-game poster showing this image and taking a selfie in front of it. You can find a picture of that in this guide, too.

Once you’ve freshened up on your solar system lore, it’s time to input the solution. Simply place the planets on their pedestals and then swap them until they’re in the correct order. This puzzle looks like it might have a twist, like one of those sliding panels puzzles that look way easier than they are before you start, but no. It’s as straightforward as it looks.
