Once Human: Where to Find Standard Parts

There are two ways you can get standard parts in Once Human: by exploring and gathering resources in the second zone and higher or by disassembling junk that you find on your way. I’d definitely do both, as these parts can be very useful but rare.

Gather Resources on Higher Levels

As soon as you kill your first boss in Once Human, you’ll need standard parts to progress in your buildings. But you can find these parts only by exploring areas 10-19 in the second zone. Note that you don’t have to replace your base to be able to do this, although I must admit it does make those trips a lot shorter.

Specifically, try to search for standard parts inside the junk piles at stronghold level 10 or higher. Once you enter areas 15-20, pay special attention to areas around Broken Delta and Iron River. If you can’t find them on your own, then open your map and hover over various points of interest. They will show you lists of materials that you can get there.

Another important thing that I must mention is the Spacetime function, which can be enabled by pressing the Q key. Once you enter any building or structure, use it to highlight all the containers or piles of junk that may contain anything of value. Also, be sure to pick up everything you can! Don’t worry about overloading yourself; soon, you’ll get rid of it all anyway. But in the process, you may find lots of standard and rusty parts, as well as items that can be disassembled for them.

Disassemble Junk Items

If you’ve collected all the possible standard parts from the second zone junk piles, but you still need more, then the next best thing to do would be to disassemble items that you loot either from the ground or dead enemies. While researching the matter, I discovered that the best place to find items that contain lots of standard parts is Deadsville. Take particular notice of the areas below and around the town.

Once you’ve collected such items as old tools, old gear, teddy bears, broken toasters, and others, follow these steps to disassemble them for standard parts:

  1. Go to the “Construction Menu” in the game.
  2. Select the “Facilities” tab.
  3. Go to the “Crafting” menu.
  4. Select the “Disassembly Bench” option.
  5. Click on items in your inventory that you wish to disassemble.

That’s all I wanted to tell you on how to get standard parts in Once Human. Stay tuned for more OH tips and tricks articles right here.
