Once Human: How to Get Fuel

Once my motorcycle tank dried, I had to look for more fuel. Unfortunately, when you look for information regarding fuel in Once Human, the game tells you to explore or to complete workshop defense. If you’re just starting in Once Human, your best option is to run around the map like I did and get all the fuel you can.

There are a few spots where you can get a lot of fuel without spending too much time wandering in the jungle or abandoned buildings. Your best bet is walking on the pavement and going from car to car, checking the trunk to see if a prompt pops on the screen, allowing you to open it and check for supplies.

If your settlement is near the shore, this is one of the easiest places to get and farm some fuel. Scavenging all the cars in that area will give you enough fuel to fill your tank and have some for later. If you still want more, you can follow the road and check a few cars parked at the side.

Another place I checked out was an island near my base. To get there, I took my motorcycle near a bridge and swam across. When I got to the island, I started looking for vehicles and looting their trunks. Doing a lap around the island will get you plenty of fuel, so after going to these areas, you should be good on gas for a while.

How Often You Can Farm Fuel

After looting the cars in the previously mentioned areas, you may feel inclined to return after a few minutes to gather more fuel and stock up, but that will not be possible as cars do not respawn loot fast. While I gathered fuel, I noticed the spawn rate on cars was slow. At times, I had to wait for more than 30 minutes to loot the mentioned routes, so do not expect to be able to farm cars every few minutes or so.

You will need to farm fuel more often after tuning your motorcycle, as increasing its speed makes it burn more fuel. So, remember these spots next time you do a mission or get close to one of these areas.
