How to Fix Dislocated Shoulder in Baldur’s Gate 3

There are two ways to fix the Dislocated Shoulder condition you get from failing skill checks when interacting with the cracked wall in Moonrise Towers. You can fix the dislocated shoulder in BG3 with:

  • Long Rest.
  • Resetting your character through killing them and reviving them.

The Long Rest option is the simplest one. If you cannot Long Rest you can exit Oubliette by heading towards the two Hook Horrors up the bloody hallway. You’ll enter the other side of Oubliette later. Sneak past them with Stealth or the Invisibility spell or potion if you don’t want to fight them. That said, you can easily ambush them from Stealth for a surprise round. Once you get past them continue in the opposite hallway to escape Oubliette and Long Rest to remove Dislocated Shoulder.

As for the character reset option, it’s kind of cheesy but you can essentially kill a character. Not down them but kill them outright by damaging them when they’re rolling Death saves. Then, revive them with a Scroll of Revivify, Scroll of Scroll of True Resurrection, or better yet a Revivify spell from a Cleric/Shadowheart which is how I did it. Once you kill and revive them the character will lose the Dislocated Shoulder condition. I prefer this method if your character is already low on HP.
