Final Fantasy 7 Remake is real and it looks glorious

The prayers have been answered. Sony has kept their promise.

At long last, one of the best RPG games and one of the best games period, Final Fantasy VII is getting a remake for the PS4.

Fans have been demanding this remake for years and years now and Sony has delivered by announcing a remake for the PS4 during E3 2015. For most of us, you could only imagine what it would’ve been like watching it live. The above video is the E3 trailer that was released. With the project being directed by Tetsuya Nomura, a name that has become synonymous with the Final Fantasy series, this remake looks like the biggest heavy hitter for the PS4 next to Uncharted 4, Bloodborne, and other exclusives. 

I’ve never played the PS1 game but have heard much good praise about it from many sites, forums and discussions around the internet. It’s got a good story set in a bleak world with a great, diverse cast of heroes. Are you as excited as I am?
